  • Hi all,

    Potted 12p change and a lovely £2 coin into Pooh Bear for the holiday fund :j
    Going out tonight with some dear friends for our annual get together. Cash a bit tight for all 4 of us but we've decided to go Italian as my friend's hubby G is having eye injections for wet MD (had one yesterday) and tomorrow he's at the hospital again for the results of a scan for prostate cancer. He knows it is cancer, it's the treatment they are deciding on. I think he deserves a lovely night out so I will be driving us all. No wine for me then :eek: but it will be lovely to see them both. There will probably be nothing to pot tomorrow but I'll lurk to see how you are all doing.

    Cuddles for Miss Lily and hugs to anyone else poorly x

    Aww ty everyone for your waves and well wishes, Miss Lily is currently fast asleep on the sofa after looking at me and saying 'mummy I cant keep my eyes open'. Dr has said def no more school this year as she just doesnt have the ability to fight off the illnesses going round :( SHe had a temp of 38 and her ear is VERY sore so antibiotics for her (which taste as acky as the penicillin did it seems, darn you EU and your removal of all the sugar from kids medicines! Just make it all worse why dont you :()

    Anyway I also bought some more calpol while I was getting her prescription so had a handful of schrapnel to chuck in the pot tonight. Hopefully her meds will start kicking in soon and she'll be running round right as ninepence by christmas eve :D

  • Hi Everyone

    Well another show last night GD3 It was really good and tomorrow the last one our youngest GS Then it's Christmas parties Fridays then no more looking after children till after NEW year. OH i will miss them.

    Still they will visit every day I expect :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    One of the little ones isn't too good has a really sore throat. Asked him if he felt better after taking his medicine, "Nanny it doesn't work straight away you have to have a bit of patience you know" This is the same child who when I was discussing some ailment he turned round and said he didn't think it was that. To which I replied sarcastically " Oh your a doctor are you?" "Nanny, of course not I'm eight you have to go to university to be a Doctor and you can't go there till your old"
    that was me told :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Well potted lots again today but had to spend a £2 coin :mad:

    I hate spending £2 coins was going to make out I didnt have change but the woman could see it,:rotfl::rotfl:
