I was telling hubby about the sealed pot challenge, he never said much last night when I was enthusing about it. Tonight after work he said did I want the £2 that he was going to spend on my Christmas card for my tin. Of course I did and offered the same back so that is £4 for the tin. The tin (pot) is now becoming a wooden box as hubby is a joiner. He said he will make one that needs sawing up to get at the dosh. I think it is now OUR tin/box/pot and he seems very keen.

Aww bless him!! DH doesn't like parting with cash for the pot. Maybe if I suggested I'd frisk him for it he might be more amenable!! ;):D:rotfl:
Edit: I HAVE BEEN PAID THE £50 THE CASH MACHINE STOLE!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! sorry, just checked my bank, sooooo happy :)

    Fab news!! :T  :T

No potting today although DD has 5p to put in her pot!! Start them off young that's what I say!! :D

We were looking for roadkill today and DD asks if it's legal lol :rotfl: (she's a stickler for rules!!) and I said of course it is! We're giving poor lost coins a nice new warm home with their friends lol!! ;) She was happy with that response and helped me look. Somehow I think I will have to split any roadkill finds between the two of us now though! :rotfl:

  • Hello Potters :D

    Declaring 11p from yesterday and 12p from today....yeah :p :rotfl: :p.
We finally got the tree up, but had to get a new one. On a good note - got it for fifteen pounds less than it had been, a week ago :j. I think it's because all the sensible people, have their trees up already  :D . Just tight misers like me that hadn't :rotfl:. However, it wouldn't have been complete, without the big DD's beautifully crafted home-made Angel :D (don't laugh LC, it's the trying that counts :p).

    Happy Potting everyone :j.

Haha this made me laugh out loud! I've done this a couple of times, got a couple of funny looks from passing cars! :rotfl: I blame the chewing gum, disguising itself as coins... ;)

£2.59 in the pot for me tonight :)

    Quoting myself here.....

Well folks you should see the size of my pot hubby made it's massive . It's at least two foot tall and about eight inches square. I think he has great expectations......I can't believe he made it so fast, I'm usually way down the list. He did however mention Florida (in your dreams matey). That would be an awful lot of roadkill, I won't have any knees left and have a permanant stoop from looking down. ;)
