Hi sue
My 2nd job is part time bar work and irregular ... I sometimes work sat night, but not every Saturday as owner rotates staff?? Is that okay?
Also I am keeping that in a separate pit so at the end of the year I can give you all breakdown of:

Thanks Sue, the holding pot seems a sensible idea.
In terms of footy subs, which are usually £2pw (we owed £1 from a previous week) I think I will give in £10 every 5 weeks. That way we won't have the usual scrabble for change 5 minutes before leaving the house!!
I hope that will ease the 'taking' from the pot :-)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Very, very puzzling, little_sweetie, but at least it's got company now. Definitely blame it on your poor back. BTW, could be more fun IF you had to frisk DH!!!

Hello there,
still 'potting' small amounts away as often as possible - found £1 in a coat pocket ( probably from some shopping trolley) so put that in. Not keeping count as want it to be a nice surprise next November.
Got 3 x £2 coins in my change at the weekend so have decided to start a £2 tin as well - haven't seen many £2 coins for a while - obviously stashed away in MSE tins which have been opened and cashed in for Christmas :-)
Keeping my eyes peeled for 'roadkill' but can't seem to find any - perhaps people in Norfolk are more careful with their money !!SPC 6 # 1850 £2 coin saving challenge #119

I was telling hubby about the sealed pot challenge, he never said much last night when I was enthusing about it. Tonight after work he said did I want the £2 that he was going to spend on my Christmas card for my tin. Of course I did and offered the same back so that is £4 for the tin. The tin (pot) is now becoming a wooden box as hubby is a joiner. He said he will make one that needs sawing up to get at the dosh. I think it is now OUR tin/box/pot and he seems very keen.0
