Hi everyone, here you all are!
I've fed Patrick with some change yesterday, then I found £1 on the grass at work, then the nice lady in the cafe at work gave me 3 x £2 in my change so I'm off to a flying start, really pleased :)
I won't be getting as much change from my lunches from now on though cos work have a payment card that I've signed up for so no more change but they do give a discount - ooh I could pot the difference!
Welcome to all the newbies, this is a brilliant thread, best on MSE :D

It's a pleasure to have you with us, dazzaofdagenham, mildredalien, Nessa56 and redbooties! A very warm welcome to you. biggrin.gif Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

ollieandme - you're already on the list, I saw you wanted to join early and popped your welcome higher up this ^ page. :D

Lovely to see you found us, slowlyfading...I reckon I will be soon! :rotfl:

All the best with your plans to go to the N Forest in March, elizabunny, we possibly will too. We were so intent on potting as much as possible this year that we haven't really been anywhere apart from our holiday in Scotland in June. Still, it paid off! :grinheart

A good idea, Rosy, after all, it was potting the difference that helps us fill those pots up. Well done with the £1 find!! :j

A very worthy beginning then, Susanne.

Then he moaned cos the jeans he wanted only come in leg size 32" he needs 31" I told him walk on tip toe he was not amused!!!

oooh you are a clown, LC 2, thanks a lot for that one though it really made me laugh out loud, just when I needed to. I don't know that you're Heaven sent, but you're so darned comical at times. Thanks. :A Enjoy the party and stick DH in the corner somewhere :rotfl:

1862 works for me! Would be nice as a target but realistically I am aiming for £100!

Must be the MSE Gremlins :) or a mischievous Christmas Elf:xmassmile

Thanks for sorting it Sue and look forward to 'potting' with all you lovely peeps on this board :)

20p road kill for me today :D. First of many hopefully. Wasn't the same not having to jiggle my pot around trying to force another 1p in it. Never mind hopefully will have to battle with it soon.
    Happy potting everyone.

  • Helloooo Potters! I found you!

Welcome to all the newbies too. This thread is getting so popular :)

Sue when things calm down a little could you update my target to £150 for SPC6 please? I have been amazed that I reached my target for SPC5 and would like to aim a little higher next time. I have all sorts of ideas on how to raise a little extra cash :D I have decided to pot only 50p's and £1 coins in my tin and anything smaller into my sealed cardboard tube to make counting next year a little easier (and don't your hands get filthy. I had to wash them several times with antibac soap to get rid of the coppery smell  ) Thanks again for starting the new challenge as I know it's such a lot of work for you. You are an :A
Just 5p potted today but onward and upward! x

Thanks for being so co-operative, flump. Your Target is put on, please don't worry about the asterisk by the amount, that's for my benefit to let me know in a few weeks which are current Targets and which are outdated. I promise I won't get rid of yours! :grinheart

Hi 166million! Good to see you all set to get to grips with this year's. All the best. :)

Isn't it horrible for now, rasp, I hate mine sounding so empty..so hungry.

Hi little_sweetie, your Target's updated too, all the very best with reaching it - or going over! :)
