Hello - thanks for starting us off again - I am definately in again for another year.
I will be opening SPC5 tonight to count with my DDs so don't know the grand total yet but it is quite exciting. This year I set them a challenge too (they are 11 and 7) to save £50 from their pocket money so we are going to open their money boxes tonight as well. They have been really good at adding £1 a week from their pocket money. Eldest gets £3 and youngest gets £2.50 a week - not sure how this pocket money rate compares with anyone else?0 -
Thanks for the new thread! Started potting into Percy the Pig......38p today so I'm up and running!!
Will try harder this year and I also save £2 coins too.
Good luck to all X2015 £2 Saver #82

Its OK Sue-UU, I found my way here
knew you were worried :rotfl: another £2 coin in the £2 coin tin today as I swapped up with Miss Lily who had one and I didnt like the other one being in there all alone, tin makes a horrible noise now though
This years challenge is a fabulous £600 as we were so close this year (with me throwing every spare penny at the debt) I think its easily doablekiplingmonkey wrote: »This year I set them a challenge too (they are 11 and 7) to save £50 from their pocket money so we are going to open their money boxes tonight as well. Oooo your more generous than me, DS (11) gets £10 a month and DD (4) gets £1 a week. This is mainly because DS would happily spend £50 on sweets if I let him plus he has £35 a month for Karate and £10.50 a month for his phonewell thats how I explained it to him
DD also has swimming lessons at £11.70 a month so thinking about it they dont do bad out of me after all :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks so much Sue and Sparky for the hard work in sorting out the membership numbers and targets.
My new pot has kicked off with £1. I won't be keeping track of what I put in it but I will be trying to put LOADS in.
The SPC5 thread seemed so happy and enthusiastic so I think I'll try to be more active in SPC6. :j0 -

Hi peaceandfreedom
Sue does the hard bit, allocating the numbers & keeping the thread going, I just tot up the totals at the end of the year and keep a couple of our members (who shall remain nameless!" You both know who you are) in line :rotfl:.
