Hello everyone
...
Whoa, whoa, whoa there Elle1267, that's not sarcasm or mockery in the air there is it ? I'll have you know he was a work of art :rotfl:...People gazed in awe at him (Mr. Tumble)
. Well I think it was awe :rotfl:
:rotfl:.
I don't know Sue, there's no soft soaping the DW she's as sharp as a tack, and knows me to well now . That half nelson you mentioned a few days ago, would be a bad idea too, she used to train in the arts also (before M.E. and the kids). Aww, she's lovely in the centre once you get to know her though. All squishy and the like :rotfl:, but don't tell her I tell you these things - or I'll get the 'look'.
Right, a handful of heaven placed lovingly into the pots :rotfl::D:rotfl::D:rotfl:.

Hello,
Please can I go on the list for 2013? Thinking of making a papier mache pig as I currently have a non-sealed lidded basket but it will have to do for now!
Starting off with £20.80 that has been collected over the last couple of weeks. 1s, 2s and 5s have their own pots so only 10p and over in this one.
Really looking forward to the challenge :TClearing debt to save for a simple wedding.Starting 2016 With debt of £77000 -
Well the 'handful of coppers' in my drawer at work has added a lovely £1.03 to my pot ... and there are still a few lurking at the back which will be liberated tomorrow
I am thinking that my 'pot' is not going to be big enough at this rate.0 -
edit - cant get link to work, its the sealed ones out of B&Ms with money on the side - think the £1 shops do them too
Hello - does anyone know how many £1s these jars hold and also 50ps?

niksyg, that's an excellent start you've made!
A good cash haul today, mossy.
What more can I say, Emily.
Ah come on, jakes-mum, you can't be all downhearted after doing so well last week; this is your next Total in the making, be happy with all you put in, you'll soon start to hear more of a 'clunk' as you get more in. We look to you to be an example - not sure what sort of one, but....I'm sure someone might one day! :rotfl:nu1isit? wrote:Right, a handful of heaven placed lovingly into the pots
Oh nu1isit?, you're so comical, I'm never really sure if your Wife is a dragon or a saint, she'd need to be the latter to put up with you though, surely. I love the way you described your potting for the day...it sounds as though you should be talking to your Wife!!! :rotfl:
Well flump, I can see no why you were itching to get back to your works pot, good for you.
Sorry to hear of the link problems, sarahlasvegas, but why spoil the anticipation by knowing? Make it a lovely surprise to look ahead to. Apart from which, the total one person might get in the same pot as someone else could well be different.
Never worry, Savingforsomeday, it's a fresh day tomorrow, you may be lucky then.Have a goodnight, folks, and a lovely Tuesday.Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -

Hello potters, :hello:
Thanks again to the lovely Sue who is doing a great job running this thread. :T
I am happy to be joining for another year of potting, and I am in a much better place finacially so there is more scope for potting any spare bits this year:j
So far I have a bit of roadkill in the pot, one of such roadkill coins is a whole pound!! I have also been snaffling the OHs change that he leaves lying around, only the smaller bits but well...I'm just tidying up arent I?
I don't count my pot but this year I am thinking of emptying it every now and then at the bank and instead of popping it into my regular bank account i will pop it in my ISA, that way I won't touch it and it might get some interest, who knows
Don't turn a slip up into a give up
