I'm definately back in for this one - although I'll be saving just lower denominations this time round to make sure there's less temptation for my missus to break into it!
Going to stick to:
1p
2p
5p
10p
Anything other than this stays in my pocket this time round!0 -
I can indeed give you a number, WantToBeSE, a warm welcome too! It's lovely to have you with us.
Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
* Please pop your number on your sig, it helps a lot.
Hi Susanne, it was bitter here until yesterday. An early hard frost then, but not too bad later, We had a wonderful walk with the family in the morning so that warmed us. Images of your DD having TWO dressing gowns on made me smile, bless her.andy.m wrote:I'm going to run a 2nd pot with all gutter finds in.
oooh thanks for that reminder, Andy, I forgot all about including my roadkill cash in my Total! Actually, I think I'll leave it until there's (hopefully) more in it. You save however you wish with the pots..just save!Gra76 wrote:I'm definately back in for this one - although I'll be saving just lower denominations this time round to make sure there's less temptation for my missus to break into it!

Be careful that what goes in your pocket doesn't get frittered away, Gra! Why not put it in a BS account and tot it up at the end of the year...any better that way?Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -
Hee hee, I'm glad you said nice crazy, Sue! I think I like Looney Tunes better than my boring old initials, so consider that adopted!
I'm just on my lunch break at work, not a penny of roadkill to be found in Kensington and Chelsea - I suppose they don't carry cash in this neck of the woods...!
Hope everyone else is having a, well, survivable Monday!xxx

Hello
I'm still saving! My pot is now about a quarter full and I can't decide whether to crack it open in the new year or carry it on until I graduate in June - I think I might carry it on. Could you amend my target please to 'save until graduation'?
I have a feeling that might be an extended deadline too but :shh: heheh
Edit - I'm number 1427£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -
Even athough I have a separate pot (and do an additional challenge) for £2 coins, I will be using the Sealed Pot principle for it so I will be adding it to my Sealed Pot 2013 total. Hope that is ok.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Hey guys!
WOW this board has been active this weekend.... Just took me 2 hours to catch up!!
Welcome to all you new potters
I may be moving into my brothers house as he is in the army and wont be home much. This will mean i can cook in the evening and take lunch to work. I'm hoping, even though the living expense will be more, my food bill will go down. We shall see. I'm giving it a trial for a few months to see how it goesexciting.
Sue the 'german' market was fantastic (for food)! We decided just for one day to not worry about the waistline and we ate A LOT!
Potted £8.94 over the weekend. Got a handful of change to pot tonight when i am home. Also, i got 26p interest in my SPC bank account
