  • mommyof4, it's horrible and sad when your cat (in my case cats) died. They are so part of the family. My mum said she wouldn't get another cat after our lovely Taco died but she said the house felt so empty that she got another cat at a rescue centre. We called her Lola.

Again no cash again but got another voucher so another £5 going in the Tardis so that's £10 I need to put in!

I know I'm late but please add me again Sue

Not sure how much I want to save but if I could get into 3 figures (ie £100+) then I would be happy

    Thanks

Starnac welcome back, you're already "IN" so just carry on, no need to ask to re-join, we're just glad to have you back :D

Hello there, sparky! The way the weather's going here we might be matching you over there - snow too! :D Whatever it's like I know all too well that you and J will thoroughly enjoy it. Am I right in thinking you go next Thursday? T's done something to his back today - just walking upstairs!! The arm is taking a long time, but they warned it would so he has to grin and bear it. :D

    Morning Sue
You're right, next Thursday/friday morning we head off on our adventure to the Windy City and The Big Apple :j.We've booked the gangster tour, so I'll have to take a trilby with me to look the part! We're going with friends and while we're away one of them is having a Birthday on the day we arrive in New York, so we've booked a surprise evening in the R lounge overlooking Times Square :D

  • Just noticed your Bank of mum and dad is now down to £600 :T:T:T

Thank you. I know I'm so chuffed, think I posted elsewhere that I've had loans and credit cards for as long as I can remember, got rid of everything then 6 years go built it all up. Dad got me a cheap loan a couple of years ago and I pay back £200 per month. It will finish 2 weeks before my baba is due, thankfully. Then I'll be debt free AGAIN. :D then whatever's in my pot in nov will be all mine and little 'un's, hubby might get a look in. :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your cat mommyof4, it's awful when a pet passes away. I hope you find comfort in the memories. xx

Ive just asked my mum to tally up everything I owe :eek: ... I then want to try and clear it by Xmas 2013 :)

Glad your debt free again - sadly I won't be :( - when I got divorced I was left with lots of debt as ex husband went bankrupt  - but I'm trying to clear it and all parties involved have been very supportive in my repayments :)

When's your little un due ?

Sorry to hear you we're left with debt from the ex, sadly I have been too in the past though it was only a relationship not a marriage, it's so hard when you have nothing to really show for it. I just wanted to get away so left him in the rented house, with the furniture, tv etc and moved in with my parents, with nothing to show but debt. Oh well.

I am due mid May. It's all worked out so well as hubby is in afghan now but due back in April and I will be debt free in May.

Good luck with clearing your debts, we'll be keeping you focused on the weekly challenge too. :D not in a stalker kind of way though. :D

Wow that's a lot of May birthdays. I have a friend with a May birthday and that's it. Most friends at beginning or end of year and family dotted throughout just nothing in May which isn't a bad thing I guess.
