My sister bought me a Terrimundi pot for my birthday in January. What a brilliant idea they are!, I've never seen them before. She obviously knows me really well as I'm rubbish at saving if the money is sat staring me in the face!
I strumbled across MSE this month as I'm starting to get really serious about my spending and savings and was looking for some tips and tricks.
I've already added some money to my pot (not that much yet though) but thought it would be nice to join you guys in the challenge and keep a log of how much I'm putting away to keep me motivated. I don't have a target, I just hope to put something in it as often as possible, as we all know every little helps!

Is it too late to join?
I've got a pot in the cupboard that I have being putting my shrapnel into since Christmas (small coins). It would be great to save up enough for Christmas costs. I will count it up tomorrow.

I am awfully in debt, but am working on that. The Sealed pot appeals as it sounds a fun way to view saving that bit extra.

    Hi MiMi66:D

Its never too late to join us. Our leader Sue-UU will be along to assign you a number shortly. In the mean time, if you read the 1st post theres all the rules/hints and tips you need :)

If you add your number to your siggy, it helps sparky and his spread sheet keep tally come 'open up day' in November. Its also a good idea to subscribe to this forum cos then you'll never lose us :D

    HI MiMi66

Welcome Sue our leader will be along later to give you your very own number. if in the meantime you read post 1 it explains everything.

When you get your number if you pop it onto your signature it helps Sparky who is our official counter upper. Then just follow me and Jakes-mums example and you can't go wrong.

Your debt will soon be manageable so try not to worry

Hi everyone, I'm potting 66p this evening :)
I'm a bit disappointed...I was always seeing roadkill and ignoring it before I saw this thread, but now I'm consciously looking there's none to be found anywhere! :p
