"Sealed Pot Challenge ~ No 6"

I just applied for a teeny job, just delivering postcards in the local area for 2 hours a week. Still it's better than the no job I have atm and will fit round the kids. Wish the supermarket that is going to be built nearby would hurry up so I can get an application in. And talking of jobs - since when do you need experience to empty bins, hoover and sweep? That was the job description I saw in one ad - I was going to go for it 'til I saw that they required experience.
Good luck with the job
Does the other job advert mean experience in an industrial environment or offices or someone's home?
I'm guessing that if you have kids you probably run your own home so as ThunderCat says that should count? Why not apply for it anyway, it might be useful practice at applications and interviews?
Also I don't want to be teaching my Grandma to suck eggs here but for those of you that are job hunting and need more experience to put on a CV; both DS and DD did voluntary work while job hunting and I'm sure it helped because employers could see they were reliable etc and they were invited for interview. HTH someone.
On topic, potted 30p yesterday
jakes-mum I'm glad you're feeling happier

Hello All,

Have added £10 to the pot today, got £8.50 from selling 5 bags of clothes (not great but better than nothing!)

It was DD's 9th Birthday on Sunday and we went to London for the day which was fun. Still need to go through receipts for that to work out what the total damage was!! It was of course, totally worth it!!

Ah well have fun folks, happy potting!ThunderCat wrote: »Just tell them that you do it all the time at home. That's experience right?
Just apply for it anyway. They may have put it up from a template. Even if you have no experience you should apply for jobs. I had no experience and not even the right qualifications but i applied for a job, i didn't get it but i got a phone call soon after saying they liked me so they made me a job
