    A late hello *waves*

    £2.14 potted yay.

I just applied for a teeny job, just delivering postcards in the local area for 2 hours a week. Still it's better than the no job I have atm and will fit round the kids. Wish the supermarket that is going to be built nearby would hurry up so I can get an application in. And talking of jobs - since when do you need experience to empty bins, hoover and sweep? That was the job description I saw in one ad - I was going to go for it 'til I saw that they required experience.

Ah well have fun folks, happy potting!

  • Aww Jakes-mum your dad sounds like a real gem :) I may put a wallpaper and decorating target onto my pot as my living room really needs doing but it is so difficult - 21 foot long, patio doors at eaither end and a big 8 foot window on one wall. Sounds dreamy but choosing decor is a blimmin nightmare lol

Wyre - well done on the little job hun :) Some of the experience they ask for on some aplications is ludicrous!

Bed for me now night you potty lot xxx

  • Hi my fellow Savers and newbies welcome!
I've not been on here for a while due to an assignment. Had a few NSD'S but been very good! Potted over £15 in change and had a 5p roadkill!! Trying to be good and not spend. Have sent some items back and got my money back. If it's not needed, don't get it lol

Anyhow I hope everyone is doing well.

Keep up the good work fellow savers!!

    Morning.

    Just 70p potted, but 70p is 70p.
Probably no more potting for a day or two as trying not to spend. :(

Just tell them that you do it all the time at home. That's experience right? ;):D

As another poster said, you've had years of experience by running your own home (or helping at mums as im not actually sure how old you are :rotfl:)

Sometimes it helps to have a dad who is a painter and decorator :D he's already been earmarked to wallpaper my end wall after the chimney comes down as at £25 a roll there is no way on this earth DH is being allowed anywhere near it  especially after the ripping incident yesterday .

Oooo its just so pretty out there I want to sit there and look at it, DH currently trying to convince me to go to the shop and look at new light fittings as our white ones look rubbish next to the nice new wallpaper, but I want dark chrome ones (i think :o) and had to explain to change the light fittings we have to change the plug sockets, then the door handles (as they are brass and icky) and get new doors for the hall as ours are nasty cheap ones put in by previous owner that I hate :o . . . he then called me a snob and told me to shut up :rotfl:
