  • morning everyone - some great potting going on :)

I was looking through daughters cupboard last night to find one of those cash machine saving devices .. So I am now hunting round for batteries, as I am going to use this as my sealed pot and it calculates all my savings as I go along :-)

OMG!!!! someone have a word with DS!! got woken up this morning to the sound of a smashing bowl (which he assured me he had cleared up properly, yet I still had to go over the entire kitchen floor with the dustpan and brush picking up the bits that miraculously appeared afterwards) then got him to unload the dishwasher and he drops not 1, not 2 but 3 more cereal bowls  then turns on the hoover to clear it all up and blows it up

DH had to do a dash to the local shop to buy some more bowls as we had 1 left and thankfully we had a second henry hoover in the shed that we robbed the top off.

Seriously, how accident prone can one child be? have told him he get the last of the old bowls to use, hes banned from touching the new ones till they are at least 6 months old :o

EDIT: and Happy Birthday Dreamer Helen, I would offer you cake, but I have no bowls to put it in :rotfl:

OMG, I don't mean to giggle at someone else's misfortune, but the way you relayed this was hysterical. Give the boy some paper plates! He is only too happy not to have to touch the new bowls :D or to vaccum. I know I would be .... Thanks for the laugh - I needed that!

Fabulous news, my father has been moved from hospital to a rehab unit and **drumroll** the carpark at the new place is free! So to celebrate I have just put a month's worth of parking fees in the pot! So happy Dad, happy pot!

I'd like to join please! :jI'll see if I can find something suitable to seal and use tonight when I get home. I've got a penny jar already so will chuck that in to make a start. I'll be saving for Christmas 2013 no target but hopefully enough to buy some nice pressies!
