Catching up with you all and feeling insanely jealous of all your snow and potting so rummaged around and found 30p to pot!!
:rotfl:
Walked to the train station in the sleet after school today, which equals two soggy and freezing cold girlies!! Although the first things we did when we got in was get in to our jammies and have some areo hot chocolate!! My legs have only just started to warm up and my bag is in the airing cupboard, hopefully it will dry out in time for tomorrow morning!!
DH got his first pay check of the month yesterday so going to move some money around and will hopefully be able to update my deposit savings total later!!

Someone brought a real mink fur coat in to donate at the shop the other day! And I was told, (just as a woman came in and asked to see it, becasue we're not allowed to seel real fur on the floor) that we had first dibs if we wanted it before it was tagged to take it home!! But she ended up buying it..for £4000!!! nice bit for charity!! It was lovely! Dark brown and so soft! It's twin (white mink fur) is sat in the back ready to be tagged (everybody agreed that it should be sold as that's a h*ll of alot of money to go to charity in one go!) of which I shall have the pleasure of doing tomorrow!
Even though their so beautiful, I still (and never will!) agree with real fur clothing.
But on a brighter note, Lots of adresses in the donor book today!, and a 2p found in my locker too!
Hello newbiesHAppy saving! x

Well, about to go to bed and looked out of the window to see the white stuff coming down again... killjoy maybe, but if I can't get to work I won't get paid, so I want it gone!!
little_sweetie and bathyboots and anyone else on WW, SW, RC etc, just think how our pounds will mount up or drop off or hopefully both! We need to celebrate our gains and our losses, depending which way round they happen! Let's go for it in 2013 once and for all!!
A measly 40p potted today from post office and bakery change. Better than nothing, and as I'm trying not to spend anything it's difficult to round up spare coins! Have reinstated the laundry fining system at home - all those who drop their pants etc on the floor instead of putting them in the basket are liable to a 10p per item charge!!
Except that I need to earn a living so it won't happen... here is a little ditty to (hopefully) make you smile...

Curled up in a ball
Underneath my duvet
I wouldn't go out at all"
