Evening all (Dixon of Dockgreen style!)

anyway, potted my usual £1 per day, decided to save the money = the number of the week (£1 week 1, £2 week 2 etc) so caught up with that this weekend and only had £1.11 in change for the VW camper savings pot. Today has been a NSD as its too flippin cold out there. I did venture out in the morning to feed the birdies and give them some water, why of why are they splashing around so much!! (I know they need to 'proof' their feathers) but still.... its too cold for that.

Hope everyones keeping warm and snuggly, the snow is not going away in suffolk and the fog today has made it all seem a bit spooky.

Just for once, I decided to do the housework in my dressing gown and yep, you have guessed it, a delivery came (it was a surprise hamper from my new cooker manufacturer purchased with the money I saved via this thread) nice surprise but I did feel a bit guilty at 10.15 this morning. Oh well, dont suppose I shall see him again!!

Im trying to decide whether to send her back to school tomorrow as her belly has been fine today and yesterday but as everytime I've sent her back after an illness she gets something else im really umming and ahhing wondering if another day off (and her driving me nuts) is a good idea to build up her immune system a bit more :think:

I think ive been robbed :eek: just gone in my purse to see i ive got anything I can pot and its completely empty :eek: im sure this has nothing to do with DH not allowing me to drive for the last 4 days due to the snow so I havent been out to get any money . . . nope some so and so must have nicked me money :rotfl:

20p so far today but got to pop out for some bread (forgot to put the breadmaker on, too busy being cold tired and grumpy!!) so hoping for change!!

Got out at lunchtime and WALKED ( saving petrol too ) to the local centre to buy my sealed pot....came away with a great big, cute as a button Minnie Mouse savings tin....:D

So my first £1.50 is rattling around nicely in Minnie's tummy...:T

Strange how much of a buzz you can get from saving....I think I like it!!!!;)
