Well that was a quick start to saving, originalkim! A very warm welcome to you. biggrin.gif Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

    , it really helps.

A very warm welcome to MSE too, originalkim. Excellent news in hearing you've started your pot so soon, but why not, sooner the better! :grinheart

Hi nomi, it's good to see you are now well on your way, it's good to see you've taken out the larger coins and left the spends for that purpose, good for you.

Whether you have a Target or not is entirely up to you, some like to do so whereas others prefer just to wait and see.

Happy potting both of you. :)

Sorry originalkim, I forgot to say that as you're new to MSE you probably won't have any idea of how to put your number on your signature.

See the top green bar of any page (near where the 4 MSE workers photo is and you'll see "Quick links". Click on that, then click on "Edit your signature" and you'll then see the box in front of you where you put something like

"SPC No ...." on as well as anything else to do with debts, challenges etc.

Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask, and remember, there's no such thing as a 'stupid question'.. :)

Hi lemonpopsicle, I'll be over to SPC 5 in a mo to see how much you saved this year. Your Targets updated as requested - here's hoping you meet or exceed it. Not to worry about having used some or all the money for debts, a good idea really!

That was quick into the new saving year, LunaLady, good for you!

It shows up in preview, i save it and the its not showing up in posts:think:

It might be something to do with Windows8, the way my posts type since having it are different from how they look on windows7.
when i add emoticons they are in type not pictures until its posted.

Thanks for branding me with my very own Number Sue :T

Here I am, raring to go for next year. I'm aiming for £250 (for a new Latin dress- or, if I manage to sew a dress, it'll go in the holiday fund instead (which will please my OH no end! :D)).

The unbaggable coins from 2012 are starting my pots (one for coppers and one for everything else) off with £46.11 (does this count towards my total for 2013?).
