I have my first shiny new tin pot and have already emptied the contents of my purse into it - very clinky when it's empty indeed! But a nice feeling to start saving towards my ambitious £1000 target for SPC 6!

DH has made his first contribution to the pot (im not sure he knows though :think:) 8p sat on his shelf looking lonely so felt it only right to rehome it

Also all the shrapnel out of my purse dumped in too, couldnt be bothered to count it up though, still horrible empty pot clunky noise though

I heard a jingle earlier and sauntered behind hubby to see if I could detect anything - sure enough I grabbed 2 x 2ps from his pocket!!!! It all ended up with us giggling a lot....but I WON!!!!! :j

Hi everyone, just thought I would update really. As I already have a jar of change in the house which we dip into as required, I have gone through it and taken the bigger coins out and put them in another tin. I have kept all the shrapnel for my sealed pot. Not gonna count it up though. But its a nice start to the challenge.
Really hoping to save a decent amount with this challenge but haven't set a target. I might do as I continue to save.
