Sorry to hear you're poorly, Ruth, take care of yourself and hope you get well soon. All the best with the weight-loss.

Thank you! I am actually feeling a lot better today. I am still off my food though but its weigh in day at the gym so that may just be a bonus :) I must force myself not to ear everything in sight once i am better which usually happens. I will take Summerdaze29 advice and stock up on healthy snacks!

Hopefully all you poorly peoples will be well soon too. Just keep your chin up :)

Well took Miss Lily to the docs this morning and shes been told no school today :( Dr thinks the infection has gone and her bladder is just irritated, but cant give her the anti irritant stuff till we do another dip test to make sure and of course the child that has to go every 30 minutes for the last 4 days can't go! :rotfl: sooooo im spending alot of time in the loo with her this morning, shes finding it all quite funny ;)

Downside is that if the dip test comes back positive then its another longer course of antibiotics and more time off school :( so fingers firmly crossed that its all fine and she can go back tomorrow as she is NOT happy with ME that she cant go (like im the one that said she couldnt go  but the Dr is a lovely lady so she cant be the bad guy can she ;))

Oh dear miss lilly. I do hope you get better soon. However, for your mummys sake i hope it's after she has had a good nights sleeps *hugs*
Not feeling great today....feeling a little depressed but I know I just have to keep going...and I will do....I'll get there!! :o

**BIG HUGS** for you too and everyone else not feeling on top of their game!

£10 gone in the pot today, liberated from the car so i can fit some 10ps in there for the car parking :) put £3 in 10ps so that will last only 10 trips :(

Also, i realised i haven't put any petrol in my car since christmas eve and have only used half a tank in that time  single life is really starting to agree with my bank balance. I even have £90 left and its payday today :D

Just a quick post as have to go and tidy up dd's room, it's a pig sty and as is normal they each blame each other and don't tidy it. I said to my youngest dd how can you sleep in this mess it's disgusting her reply was i just turn my back to it and face the wall it's fine !!.

Yes, i was trying not to laugh when she said that. I do need to go now and get tidying there room, maybe i should charge them and get some change for the pot, only joking !!.
  • Hi everybody

First posting of the year on here. Happy New Year to all. Pot has been fed several £2 coins since xmas. When i get these in my change i try really hard to put them in my sealed tin. Dependin if its a gd wk or a bad wk, i change from a little smile to my self or an inward groan when 1 arrives in my purse. Haha Happy Pottin

    Hi all,
Have been signed off work for a week although my maternity leave starts on Saturday so I am now officially off work for a year :) Sold a book on the local Facebook buy and sell site so added another £2 to the pot today. Also sold some bedroom furniture for £60 (which isn't going in the pot) but not a bad morning for money making! Xx

Last night, I decided to empty out my bottle which has a load of 5p's.

Not to spend, but to see how much there was inside, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought at the most £10, but there was actually .............

    £31.45 in there!!!

I'm planning on continuing this bottle along with my other sealed pot, so could I please have this added to my total!
