Aww Little Sweetie....sorry to hear that you're feeling ill...Wrap yourself up warm and try to relax....drink plenty....and get everyone else to look after you... :)

Well I'm putting £4 in the Pot today after breaking into a five pound note to buy some credit on my Oyster Card...I only wanted £1 to make one journey so I'm potting the other £4...

So that's a GRAND TOTAL of £37.73....I think I'm going to burst a blood vessel with screaming when I get to £50...So be prepared...LoL :rotfl:

Pot has been fed several £2 coins since xmas. When i get these in my change i try really hard to put them in my sealed tin. Dependin if its a gd wk or a bad wk, i change from a little smile to my self or an inward groan when 1 arrives in my purse.

This just happened to me at the bank!! I got out the rest of the cash for my Grocery challenge and the cashier gave me two £2 coins!! Safe to say (with £16.50 left until the 20th for my shopping) I very much groaned...almost audibly, I certainly sighed at the guy!! :rotfl:

Potted 17p change from the food shopping money and I found a rusty 2p roadkill on the way to the car after school. It's nice to have something to pot again!! :D Will keep the £2 coins hostage for now but may have to release them back in to the wild should I need it for next weeks shopping, if not in the pot they'll go!
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Glad to have made you chuckle Mossy....I am usually in the "point and laugh" category :D LoL....

Definitely feeling a lot more positive...so I'm really pleased...Managed to hit my Target from last night's Work...and I'm debating whether to start Work early so I can get a headstart on tonight's Target (I'm self-employed, Work from home)....

Tried to get some sleep but couldn't....so at least if I hit my Target early I can go to sleep when it's actually dark!! LoL :rotfl:
  • It is a good day for potting!! Just potted £9.78 :D

Off to the gym now so my bubble may be well and truly popped if i haven't lost weight :(

Last nigh:)t, I decided to empty out my bottle which has a load of 5p's.

Not to spend, but to see how much there was inside, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought at the most £10, but there was actually .............

    £31.45 in there!!!

I'm planning on continuing this bottle along with my other sealed pot, so could I please have this added to my total!

Of course you can, Delilahh, absolutely no reason not to. Excellent savings in there...so far! :j

Oh brilliant, Ruth, I guess you'll be doing that again, yes?!! :rotfl:

Hi Saver88, all the best for your kiddies soon feeling much better. xx
I wanted to report that I have only potted £2 in the last week as been waiting for pay day. The only road kill I have found is a solitary penny in DS 1's room, my DD2 and I have decided to have a pot specifically for road kill also, so that at the end of the year we can marvel at how much Treasure as she calls it we have found.:T

Hi Thriftkitten, I hope you managed to complete the college assignments ok. £2 in a week is still good and over a year would be a £104! A good idea with the roadkill in a separate pot, I do and sparky does.
I said to my youngest dd how can you sleep in this mess it's disgusting her reply was i just turn my back to it and face the wall it's fine!!.

:rotfl: Oh, just trying, that was soooooo very funny!! :rotfl: Bless her, I bet you had to turn away sharpish. :D

£3 is VERY good, new leaf, well done.

Marvellous news of the £31.50 for goods sold, little_sweetie!!! :T Thanks for popping it on your siggy. Such a shame you feel so rough, do as Helen suggests and rest up, keep warm, plenty of fluid and get a good night's sleep. I do hope you're soon feeling a lot better. x

Glad to have made you chuckle Mossy....I am usually in the "point and laugh" category :D LoL....

:rotfl:Thanks for that giggle, Helen, better than being in the point'n shoot category!!

Brilliant savings everyone, you're all doing amazingly!!!! :T:T:T:T
Have a lovely evening, everyone, try to relax and enjoy it.

Have potted a lovely shiny £2 coin today, plus £10 because I was a good girl in town and didn't buy loads of 'stuff' to cheer myself up. Feel lots better too so that's worked :)
Hugs to those that need them, especially Miss Lily :)
