Very quiet in general, maybe a few are falling off the wagon....hopefully pick up again to carry us through summer, keeping motivation without a summer holiday or two...!! On the money front I'm doing terrific. On health not so good. Few stiff bits and a 60 hour week ahead....may cut down to 47 and have weekend off!:eek:Living frugally at 24

Hello everyone
A few sales on eBay over the weekend - £18, not much but if I just sell that amount every month for the next 10 months that is over £200 towards my balance (already made £59) ..... not to be sniffed at!!0 -
Good morning everyone,
I decided last evening to add the money I saved last month (in anticipation for the new tax year - to be put into cash ISA) to add to my favourite fund in my S&S ISA which is about to soft-close. I also managed to add another £200 for good measure.
This is my second year that I am actually saving and I owe it all to forums such as this. It is absolutely mind boggling how quickly the cash accummulates when one sets one's mind to it. Thank you so much to all of you, particularly to the incredible students on this forum, for your inspiration and determination.:):):):):):):)!!
I have updated the spreadsheet as I won't be adding any more this month. Thank you very much.

Ok so I finally got around to checking how much I put into savings in January and it was a whopping £2,500 (including student finance I saved). Will be saving some at the end of this month too hopefully. Getting there
might increase the target over the summer.

Happy saving everyone,
Hi Susanne, I completely agree with you. These forums are just great. I'm only saving a little....but that's way more than I was at the end of last year. I was a bit afraid to join this particular challenge and still to post my first update (waiting until the end of the month) - so glad I did though. It's lovely to see everyone's savings add up - from the little amounts (like mine will be) to those who can save a little more.
Thanks to everyone involved in the thread!SPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -

Not sure... I would probably count it since you are putting it into savings this year. Maybe slowlyfading could clarify?
I have now got £188.09 so far towards my total this month. Payday will (hopefully, if business internet banking plays the game) be this coming Monday this month so I should have beaten my monthly target for the second month in a row. This is becoming a habit!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
