You can only get good karma for that ;) If it helps, I would have done the same. Don't worry, they will build up again in no time :)

1st February and I have £22.59 so far already! My predictions show that I shouldn't have anything until Monday and then only £5 so very pleased with myself

    Given or loaned?

My Sister has put me in a similar situation three times now. A while ago I loaned her £3,000. Then a year later she asked for a further £500 and then six months later again asked for another £950. I said no on the £500 and £950 as I can't deal with loaning out so much and told her that if she always has the mindframe that I'm always going to bail her out when she gets herself into a problem then she'll keep on getting herself into problems. Just don't go lending out over and over again or you'll end up asking other people to lend you money and have a rubbish trail of lending going on.

I've given it to her. She very good with money and went travelling with a nice sum but she's finding it very hard to get work. She's never asked for money, never needed to, and I know she would do the same for me. I've given it to her as there's no expectation of getting it back, there will be no bad vibes when we talk ect. I know she probably will give it back as soon as she can, but for now I'll write it off.

So far I'm on zilch. I saved just under £800 in jan so it's put me back to £0. These things happen.

At least I'll get a free holiday out there this year :D(minus flights)

I am going to bow out of this for this year, as haveing had a proper look at my budget, it doesnt look like i am going to be anywhere with my savings this year. I will be back next year with hopefully a bit of leeway to make a dent in my savings.

Wish you all well with your goals and see u next year!

Good for you. Part of the reason I want savings is so that i can help if need be. My brother had tough times last year and I couldn't help much.
