Well since announcing my £1100 for January I've found out I've been paid a little bonus. So I've moved another £500 into my ISA, I now have £9k savings overall
I can put another £2k into ISA but realistically might only be able to save £1500 before April and I need to make the decision whether to save that for a holiday or for braces instead of savings.

Hi everyone
My total for January is £383.28 :j:j:j I am so delighted with this and feel it is a good start towards my target. I'm not sure how well I will do in February as my income has reduced significantly from this month but fingers crossed.
I will fill in the spreadsheet next
Good luck and happy saving everyone.0 -

saver88, it's an odd one, I ended up not paying (yet) when I picked it up as garage ('open til 6') was shut when i got there at 5.15, just nabbed last departing staff chap and got him to give me my key as garage is a good 90 mins away and I wasn't going back again! But I doubt it will remain a free repair, they said 2 hours ie £220, eek!
Well done all those who have managed to save and/or not accumulate any debt, Jan must be the toughest month so it can only get easier from here. About to do my 'pay savings first' thing and will work out what I can save.0 -

My total for January is £617, quite chuffed with myself as normally I'd have got a couple of hundred and gone and had a spending session on useless stuff. Also impressed I've actually now got 3 saving pots going on, this, one for christmas (sorry for swearing
) and one for my house move.
Failed miserably at staying out of the supermarket in the mornings though, but have kept all receipts so once I tot those up it may change.Save £6k in 2013 member 168 £1187/60000 -

No 105 here. I was going to save £1000 this month but I have a holiday deposit to pay, and some fees for buying the rest of our house. I thought it would be cheating to save the 1k then transfer the money back out of last year savings. So I have saved £250 in January.LBM Dec 10.
