Thanks to some overtime this week, I should get paid £250 this month, which even with £200 going out as an installment for a holiday, means I will be able to add to my savings which I didn't expect :j. From my part time job I have been earning £160-£200 a month, but 20% pay increase and more hours mean I should be making more like 240-260 a month, so pleased :beer:Save 12K in 2013, #203.

Great work everyone! Just updating my siggy and the spreadsheet, all going according to plan so far with Direct Debit set up to take money from my account fortnightly. Will have to pull the belt in for February as I have a tax bill due to be paid and would rather not dip into savings to cover it.Mortgage

I've been sadly missing from this thread. However, I have still been saving away.
I'm delighted to be able to say that I've got 1137.78 in the pot so far. This means that I've achieved 9.48% of my yearly target.
Payday is tomorrow as well :j0 -
Hi everyone. It's so inspiring reading all your posts and seeing how well everyone is doing.
I'm just about to update my signature, first £200 for this year has gone into savings. Hooray! :j0 -

I divided my target (£7,300) by 12 and worked out that I need to save £608 a month. I spent the first week depressed I had set myself such a high target (:(), the second and third week achieving the target and then some (:D) and then the fourth week being all lazy and not doing anything (:rotfl:).
I have saved £721 this month...
So you beat yourself up the first week and beat your target the next two weeks. The fourth week was your week of rest!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

No more savings to report for this month so am going to end January on £592.76 (very pleased with myself but dont expect Feb to be as much) and look at the 'Easy update form' and do that next. Just in case it doesnt go where ever in cyberspace its supposed to go I am number 165
Well done everyone on savings accumulated so far however large or small and good luck for February.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
I've added £2500 today!! I hope this isn't cheating and still counts as "saving" - it is a payment I was expecting in compensation for an accident, from which I fully recovered thankfully.. it is going into my savings pot for my deposit.:)0
