Managed to put together an extra £220 bringing my total to this month to £700 :D
Won't have as much extra spare in coming months with car bills coming up (MOT, Service and Tax). That puts me ahead of what I'm aiming for for now so I'm chuffed.

Great work this month everyone, here's to the next 11.

Yes, cheers  to everyone and good luck!

Ended up saving £1,366.64 in January. Wasn't the cheapest month so I'm very happy with that :)
  • I'm declaring £1,061.58 for January - puts me ever so slightly ahead of target.

    Bring on February :)

  • Hi all fellow savers.

£707.32 for January for me, £300 in regular saver, the rest in M&S account. That's more than my £300 target so very pleased.

Just had a quidco payment, so stuck £50 in M&S as a start towards Feb's target.

nat21luv - what a lovely sibling you are!

Morning. Well slow month in January but I was expecting that. I posted off my application for the Coventry BS ISA (2.8%) for 2012/13 with a cheque for £55.17. Wish I'd applied earlier and got the 3.1%!! but hey.

Feb is the month. Share options released in a week which will clear the credit card debt for good! and then also payday brings my xmas/new year oncall so should be a lot better.
