    £1660 for me during August.

I am now up to £6,160 for the year, only £3,840 left to save with four months to go!

Well done to everyone meeting their target, or keeping on target to meet their goal. Great stuff :)

I'm declaring £1629.14 for August and £7384.02 for the year so far which keeps me just about on track, although i'm £1200 behind where I should be after 8 months so playing catch-up a bit. September should be good though, so fingers crossed.

Well done to all in the challenge, some great progress being made :)

    Morning everyone I'm declaring £5,190.48 for August:j:j:j

That gets me way back on track for reaching £10k this year :T

Edit: also increasing my target to £11,000
  • Well done everyone!

Declaring £470 for August - not sure if I declared for July - that was £472.69. So total is up to £4205.69. £7000 is now looking a bit unlikely given my forecast for the remainder of the year but will keep trying! :)

    Hi Young Businnesman
August is bonus month for me! All those long hours I worked in May and June finally paid off :-) and seeing as I don't have any debt to pay off it went straight into the savings pot :T
  • How often do you get a bonus or do you mean bonus because of all the overtime? Fair bumped up you're savings anyway!! I was off to a slow start and now managed more in 2 months than I did the 6 months before it! Looking forward to another couple long hour weeks then treat myself to 3 weeks off over Xmas instead of the 2 weeks paid holiday we actually get! If I'm over my £15k target il take the extra week if not its only 5 extra days at work to try and get over the £15k, who knows what will happen. Currently sat in my garden on new seat getting a fine breeze after cleaning my motors...who knew the weather could be so nice when September is only days away?!
