Sounds great!
Does anyone else have any tips?
The main ways I'm hoping to add pennies to the pot are:
- continue meal planning and not wasting food
- taking lunch to work and to not be tempted by canteen stuff!
- be happy with what we have, not frustrated by what we haven't gotBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Hello all
Hope you are all doing well and ready for a challenge?
SF, please put me down for £12000, I don't know if I can do it but figure if I set a high goal I will try harder!
I have already switched current account, set up new ISA with a bit better interest and now a regular saver account too - here's hoping the money fountain will start flowing!
I've also landed a temporary job, so that will be my first wages going into the new account to save.
OH works full-time but is up for the challenge too as we seem to have fallen off the MSE wagon recently....
Good luck all and Merry Xmas!

My savings will come straight from my wages as soon as I get them. I am aiming for £300 per month and I have a budget set up to include that. Also, I get £5 per month reward from my current account which I put to the savings too. Anything else will just be as and when, I really don't expect much else. I really cut to the bone this year so I need to ease off a bit next year but as I am saving for a huge holiday in 2014, £300 per month is the least I can save to ensure I stay on track for itMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

I'm planning to take most of my savings straight from my wages and will supplement this with money made from eBay and cashback websites. I've just added what I made this year and it totalled £71 for eBay and £161 on cashback sites and that was without really trying so I'm thinking if I just try a bit harder I could make loads more on ebay! Seriously, my flat is busting at the seams, especially now my other half has moved in.....am going to do a big clear out in the new year!0

Oh and whilst on eBay I'm going to stay away from the BUY button and will delete all apps and disable emails that send me offers for 25% off Warehouse/Oasis/New Look etc etc.....they've been my downfall the last couple of months.....too....many....offers0

I'm stocking up on things that I need and also finding what I am going to eBay I am so ready for this challenge0
