Sorry for sounding a bit stupid!
If you ask a question you might sound stupid for 5 minutes but if you don't ask you will be stupid for the rest of your life (you don't sound stupid by the way, I don't believe there is such a thing as a stupid question if we don't know the answer to something). Anyway, back to the point, the aim of the challenge is to save 12k (or whatever amount you decide on) in 2013, starting on 1st January and finishing on 31st December. We are trying to reach our savings goal by the end of the year. What I did last year was saved separately for my holiday then any money left over was put towards the challenge. I didn't really see the point in declaring money that I knew I wouldn't have at the end of the year. I think we should ask slowlyfading to clarify that point but that is how I see it.
Hope that helpsMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

I might not have mine in the bank tbh, but that will acually be a good thing and i'll have an asset worth the same amount, so i'm still going to join if thats ok, not having it next year all depends on us finding the right site for us anyway which could take alot of time.DEC GC £463.67/£450
