I couldn't wait, I went to the bank and opened a brand new account. The bank clerk even commented that I was s bit premature and most surprised I was already thinking about next year.
So direct debity thing done to come out of my current account on payday, hence $500 now in the new account. :TMortgage

Hello
I'd love to join the challenge for next year - I'd like to try for half the main target, so £6000 please.
I have a question though - some of this savings money will be spend throughout the year, for a summer holiday etc. Can I still declare this at the end of the year or do I physically still have to have the £6000 in the bank in December?
Sorry for sounding a bit stupid!SPC6 no 1882£2 savers no 66VSP no 280
