I'd like to join you all. I'm game for the full £12 and I'll be counting savings from sales and markdowns as well as any real money it get in through selling or gifts.

Hoping to save towards the mortgage - so I'll put anything extra into paying off the mortage at the end of the year.

Can I join with a target of just £3000? I'm going to do mortgage overpayments, paying off a 0% card and paying off our wedding/honeymoon too so £3k at the end of the year will be a MASSIVE challenge!!!

Morning everyone! Am applying for a Regular Savings account today so I'm all ready for January. I'll also open a separate savings account so I can pay in other odd amounts as I go along. Have added my target in my signature. Intend to read up on all the "sneaky ways to save" and "batch cooking" threads for ideas. Have set a budget for grocery shopping starting after christmas and anything left over each week will be saved. My motto for 2013 will be "Saving not Spending".
