If everyone hits their targets except me, we wont make £2 million.....so i need to make sure i dont let everyone down, i will do it!! Away to shift over a few £££ so should be upto £2,500 out of £20,000 target!
Nope. I put down a £20K target after she posted the £2m bit. We will still make £2mil if everyone except you doesn't meet their target :)
  • My mistake, its down to us two then ;) Did SF see my comment everyone pays £1 and it goes to a charity of her choice?

I have just submitted my first savings for the year and am relieved to find I'm already over target and that was despite having my MOT and car insurance in February. I need to put £150 away each month to reach my goal and I've got some more money stashed to one side from a debt which was settled in February, but am waiting on an electricians bill first so I know how much is left after settling that. Next weekend my sister and I will be trying to blitz the last of the decorating at dads house so, while there will be some small costs associated with this we will at least be a bit closer to being able to let it out and I plan to put my half of the income directly into savings every month. There's a lot to do though so we are considering getting decorator in to do whatever is left as I work full time and she lives in London. It's not the cheapest way to do it, but the longer the house is empty the more income we are missing out on so it would be money well spent.

:( I'm sure it wasn't intentional! You can still use the update form though to advise savings for Jan and/or Feb. Where you put your allocated number in you can state that you haven't been given one yet and this will give sf a gentle nudge :)

The link for the update form is on page 1 of this thread.

Hmpfff! Mine is not in yet :( It usually shows in my account on the 2nd working day of the month and then craftily shows the date as the 1st working day!

I feel like my savings are very tiny in comparison to others.....but it does keep me motivated :)

I didn't give it a thought about my amounts being low compared to everyone else, I was just so excited about being able to save anything. I love coming here and being so motivated by reading about everyone else's progress, big or small. I wish my savings were bigger but maybe one day ;)

Righto, I've updated the front page and we're up to 225 members! I've also updated the spreadsheet - everyone is doing so well!

And, our target for this year is now upto:
    £2,000,813.00 :D wouldn't that be amazing...?!

Keep it everyone, you're all awesome :D
Now that definitely would be amazing! ...It's making me more determined to save!
