  • So I got a bit more commission than I thought I would this month ^_^ So decided to save £1450. £3950 so far :D I may extend my £8000 target to £12000 as I'll be putting in a lot of hours over the summer unless I go travelling. Who do i contact about this?

Total of £1019 for February, this month looks a bit expensive with tax/MOT/service due on the car, so unlikely to do quite as well but won't be disastrous and pleased to be on roughly the right track :)

Just updated the sheet. Surprised I managed to save £1290 so far. That will peter out now as various sources of funds disappear. Still aiming for £4000 this year though, on top of my attempts to OP mortgage. Let's see.....!
  • So by clearing out my PayPal, selling few things on eBay and draining accounts I have added 1000 this month from wages- I think I may be cutting it fine but trying to pay myself first! I'll transfer money back if I reeeeally need to...

It's funny how, when you have put the money into savings, you try everything in your power to not have to transfer it back. Think about every single purchase before you make it and decide if you really, really need it.

Starting March with a small but perfectly formed £1.25 (got an interest payment of 73p on one of my accounts that I thought had stopped paying interest! It is a regularly used account, I don't have savings sitting in a non-interest bearing account!!)

    Happy March everyone :D
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
