Hello. Well I've gone over budget on food. Although did get some overtime in so maybe that balances out? But I've been very lazy.
Will look at my new years resolutions cos i did well but then slipped up in final few months of the year.
I am on NSD 11. Hoping tomorrow, 25,26,27,29, 30 & 31can also be but that only gives me 17 days in total. Must try harder but will be very interested to see what January challenge brings.

Morning everyone
Not much to report here.
Still within my food budget (just), overbuget on petrol (by £10- due to my unplanned meeting with friend yesterday).
The boys are coming home from their dads house today, so i need to get a move on wrapping their stocking presents!!
Have a great day everyone!0 -
Well good day to you all!
TWO MORE SLEEPS TO GO!!!
Following a very lazy day yesterday I have another one planned for today!:T...I literally sat from 1000 when I managed to get up until about 0100.. with mother feeding me and breaks for a bath before back for a late night film then bed. It's not something I am proud of but I can for-see the next 12 months and know this won't happen again!
So in light of a seriously lazy day I am planning January's challenge...:T:T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Enjoy kat, that sounds like bliss!!! I LOVE days like that, rare though they are! Much as I enjoy the buzz of the busy life I lead, veg out days are fab!!
Somehow managed another NSD yesterday-went shopping in London yesterday with my niece and we spent so much time talking, we shopped til 11pm and came home without a single shopping bag between us
Visiting the Christmas market of Covent Garden this afternoon so I'll be splashing out on a hot chocolate!
Back for more later0 -
Thank you Siouxsie...I am still sat here. January's challenge written. May I apologise in advance...mwah ha ha ha ha haaaaa!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. yes up to 13 NSDs
This is quite remarkable as we have all had man flu which has fogged my brain and meant unplanned trips for tablets, tissues and lemsips and a takeaway
Therefore i have gone over the food budget abit well probably alot but have quite a few reduced items for meals into january and we now have to put on an unexpected buffet for more people tomorrow night  but it is xmas .....
I have to call at Mr T on the way to work tomorrow for bread but no more spends planned until at least friday or saturday so wont make the full 20 NSDs but not bad for us.
I have to admit not much exercisehas gone on here mostly due to manflu but hopefully get back on to it as soo as poss.
Well hope everyone has a good xmas :santa2: i have my DGD coming who keeps telling me she is "a bossy boots" and thinks you have to play pass the parcel with every present :rotfl: well shes only 2..:D
Onwards and upwards everyone...Updating .................................................

HAHAHA!! Cranny your DGD sounds amazing!!! My friends little boy of 4 has a new baby brother on the way. His mum told me that today his baby name choice is 'Frank'... he's decided he doesn't like 'Binky' 'Paddington' or 'Mayonnaise' any more. Love kids so much!!
OK. Yesterdays minor blip into a cold has receded & I am so excited about Christmas I may not be able to sleep & cannot tell you for definite that I don't believe in Santa!! Ham cooked today, brandy butter about to be made, leek and potato soup made earlier for a lovely dinner tonight... I even made pot pourri with oranges, cloves & cinammon/nutmeg/vanilla. Love that xmas smell!!
NOT an NSD here, but the last spend day for at least 4 days!! However it is confession time. My final food shopping for Xmas & beyond came to a staggering £81.29 without meat!! I don't see us needing to buy much of anything apart from veg, bread & milk for at least 3-4 weeks but that is not the point! I said I might overspend by a max of £20 but this was £34!!!
Plenty of exercise though today & a lot of extra money made this month. We've come out of our own particular month (26th Nov to 28th Dec) with £340 left from our income. This is unheard of at Christmas in anyones world surely?!?!

Bring it on!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:February 2021 GC £301.45 / £300.00

WHOOP WHOOP! One more sleep to go!!!
So I may have spent a little money today - £7.65 to be exact! I cancelled a get together with the girlies on Thursday whereby I had £25 set aside ( kinda ).. so effectively saved £17.35. The massive turkey has landed and we are all sat ( with Granny who arrived today ) in front of a log fire watching the Grinch.... all is well!...
January's challenge is being honed and refined! Enough to scare myself but I think it might be needed after the massive Christmas spend.. and if I don't eat I will lose weight faster right..?...RIGHT?.....:(
Right there are Lidl spiced biscuits to eat, cheese to snack on, gherkins to nibble, pringles to scoff, a chocolate Santa to smash, ....and Mummy has told to me switch off the internet cause we gotta plug in the tree lights to amuse Granny......
