Its ok NSK we all have special moments from time to time :D. Just had the last of my batch chilli from the other week, could be last hot meal for a while. Although think mum and MIL/FIL may be feeding us both shortly.

DD3 has been round this afternoon for a visit and has said she will give me more money to help out and to STOP helping myself to Xmas things - so thats me told off on all accounts:rotfl:

By the way I had a list but got carried away, I dont think Im safe going around the shops on my own, but just a few bits to buy now so perhaps not as bad as I first thought:o and no excuses to go into big shops again, I could do with hibernating until Xmas but then theres New Year - its a good job Im babysitting DGC that night:) I will learn-learn-learn cos I need this debt paid off

Keep up the good work everyone and for all those who fall off the DDD like me - get back on again:)

    Hi everybody,

It's great to read everybody's trials and tribulations, but I'm sorry to read that some of us are having such a hard time at the moment. <<Hugs>> to everybody needing one at the moment.

I missed posting yesterday and the day before as I've been working on the late shift so have been too tired to post. I had my hair cut as planned on Monday and also did a small shop at the supermarket (bananas, bread, milk, potatoes and somehow a Kit-Kat snook in there :o). The hairdresser was a planned spend, but a 'planned spend' that I forgot to take into consideration was the cost of posting Christmas cards abroad, plus I had to purchase 3 more special Christmas cards and some large envelopes as I'd totally used up the ones I save to reuse. The stats have been adjusted and are now as follows:-

    Food 24.49 / 50.00 (for 2 people)
    Petrol 29.66 /105.00 (2 vehicles)
    Christmas Food 30.00
    Christmas presents 50.00
    Unplanned spends 6.66 (Dentist)
Unplanned spends 6.21 (cards & envelopes)
    Unplanned-planned spend 14.26 (Post Office)
Planned spend 40.00 including Christmas tip (Hairdresser)
    NSD 7 / 20
    SD 4 / 11

Tonight will be my last shift for this week, and hopefully I'll make it straight from my door to work's door without diverting through any stores.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is going to be a spend day as I'm going into town so will top the petrol up in the car as it's a spend day, and I'll be paying for the majority of my purchases with supermarket gift cards. I'll be taking a flask of hot chocolate to drink to stop me buying any drinks whilst I'm out but I just need to think of something tasty to take to eat as I'm getting sick of eating sandwiches. I might just have to go into the supermarket first and see if the lady who does the promotions is promoting anything :rotfl:maybe I can fill up on ice-cream and cookies or something as equally un-nutritional :D

    :T Let's celebrate - it's Wednesday = Hump Day :T (It's the middle of the week, nothing rude :o)

    Toodles

May have to buy a lotto ticket tomorrow though as cant resist on 12.12.12

I love the date 12.12.12, it's too late for me to make it a target date for this year, but thinking ahead to next year I'm going to make 11/12/13 a target date.

Not sure what the goal is yet though, it's too soon to pay the mortgage off and hopefully all debts will be gone by then. So it may be that I'm going to make it a target date for saving a certain amount of money which means I've got 364 days left to save X amount :rotfl:

    Edited to add:
I know, I'm going to make 11/12/13 the date that I'm going to make a 'significant' overpayment against my mortgage before the interest for the following year is re-calculated. Still need to figure out what the significant amount is to be :)

Hi Folks....just popping in to cheerlead :j:j:j:jbefore joining you good and proper in January.....I am looking forward to debt busting good and proper.

Still trying to work out what my NSDs will and will not include, for instance today, I posted two e-bay parcels....so I spent some money...but I kind of think that doesn't really count ? I hope everyone agrees?

Anyway, my other spend today was on a coffee....I guess that does count!

Hi all, brrr is chilly out! Hope you are ok and hugs to those having a tough time.

Today is a NSD so that is 6 in total yay!

Yesterday wasn't though. I needed bread to go with soup for lunch and ended up buying a filled roll -a bit cross with myself for that and then later I posted an ebay parcel at the post office in the co op and bought some reduced foodie stuff and mince pies totalling £12 something. Had I not bought the roll, I may have resisted but in for a penny - bah. Got reduced garlic bread, potato salad and quiche which we had for tea last night and sausages for tonight and spring rolls in freezer.

    Off to update my totals.
