I claimed 2 years ago for bank charges from Barclays before this all became (very) common knowledge. I wasn't aware I could go back 6 years and so accepted an amount for 1 year only (around £300)
Does anyone know if I can now claim back the full 6 years? I have barely gone o/d since then but before then I was constantly incurring at least £105 a month charges! We are so strapped right now and our car has been written off - the extra money would really come in handy.
Any advice will be gratefully received right now. After 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -

Did you then by any chance keep copies of the offer with letters??0

I didn't as I moved shortly after and thought it was all done and dusted.
Do you think it would be worth me claiming anyway and seeing if I get anywhere? After 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j

Thanks for that. I'm hoping they don't have a copy because shortly after, they closed my account. They only re opened it after weeks of me going into the branch and arguing till I was blue in the face!
I'll send my letter off tomorrow along with my OH's to Lloyds TSB and see where we get. After 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j

Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago I was successful in reclaiming back by bank charges (just before the put a hold on everything).
At the time of offer I had to sign a form to say that I was accepthing this offer as full and final settlement. However since this happend I have been charged again, at the same rates (£100!!).
What I would like to know is that would I be able to reclaim these new charges, once the current situation with the FSA and courts gets resolved?? Or by me signing this form has basically said that I can not claim further reimbursement of charges.
Has anyone been in this situation???
Many thanks.0
