Morning Diary!

Well, good news, I've got a new job! New job is a bit closer to home, 15 mins rather than 45 mins. Technically more money, it's the same as my wage+overtime I get just now, but this job it's all wage, no overtime needed or required. Feeling rather happy about it all!

Had an appointment at the mortgage advisors on Saturday there as well, eek! Feeling like a proper grown up now lol! My application in principal was put in. I need to call a surveyor to get a basic survey done and get a valuation. Oh my, it's all feeling very real now!!

Emailed all my customers at work today to let them know I was leaving, I've had so many phone calls and emails from people saying that they will miss me etc etc

I'm not one for crying, but it's really put a tear in my eye:o

Well hello Diary, my old friend

Been totally AWOL. I'm not allowed to use the Internet at work except on my lunch break, so not really been on here, or on the Internet much at all.

Big news! I've been talking before about buying my dads house from him. He retires in a few weeks, and I knew I had to go for it and at least try and get a mortgage!

Had the house surveyed on Wednesday, got it valued at the amount we needed. Survey report got sent through to my mortgage advisor on Friday morning. I was at my lawyers starting the paperwork when I got a call from the mortgage woman, she had processed the paperwork and my offer letter was in the post :j:beer:

Waiting on the paperwork, but in a few days I will be an official home owner!!

Need to get insurances sorted, will check TCB to get a good deal. Need to sort gas and electricity suppliers as well, got so much to do!

Can't believe it!
