My ex-husband was spotted kissing another woman at a party. One of my friends told me - several other people also saw but turned a blind eye. I am eternally grateful to my friend for confirming what I already suspected.

If it was one of my friends I would have to tell her, I just couldn't keep her in the dark about something like that.
  • Tell your friend.

If she chooses to shoot the messenger, then that's her choice.
However, you'll know that you tried to put her interests above all else, and that's what a true friend does.

pretty conclusive I would think. now, do you tell or not? I think not. Not right now anyway. She may know or suspect and not want to know and frankly hun - if you tell her, you may ruin your friendship for good. Sit on it for a while and be aware of, oh this is difficult to put into words - be aware of whether she would WANT to know!

Do you know him well enough to confront him? Giving him the option of telling his wife before you have to?

I am swaying more towards telling her.

I would want to know if it were my husband but I don't know how I would react to the person telling me (especially if I hadn't already got my suspicions). I guess it would depend on the situation.

Put yourself in your friend's shoes. If your husband was deceiving you, wouldn't you want to know so that at least you could be mentally prepared and start thinking out some tactics, instead of being caught out completely unexpected? What she then does with the knowledge is up to her, but if she's a trusted friend, she would probably rather know, especially before she possibly gets herself pregnant which would cause all kinds of additional complications for her.

I would tell her, and then it's up to her how she deals with the situation. If she stays with him, that's her choice and I think you would have to be very careful about telling her what she ought to do, or being judgemental.

I'd pop round to your mates house for coffee when hubby is home and mention (in front of his Mrs) you saw him whilst you were at the hotel and see how he reacts.

Tell her before she tells you she is pregnant and it gets really messy.
