    Good morning all,

Hugs Haribo, I hope you’re feeling better today.
Snowy and Miss Behaving, enjoy your days off.
Amanda, I hope your kitty turns up.
Catowen, I hope you feel better soon.
Good luck to Mr Tru at the dentist today.
Happy Birthday to Hilstep :bdaycake: and belated birthday wishes to Miss Pen Pen.

Sorry I've been missing in action the last few days but real life has caught up with me. I've been trying to get back into a routine after the holidays, painting the outside of the house and I have a horrendous week at work.

So if I've missed something important…I'm really sorry. I'm going to try to get a chance to read over the last couple of day's threads at some time today.

The big kids and Mr Pink have gone already and I'm sitting with my first coffee of the day while trying to coax the little one to tie his tie, clean his teeth, find his bag etc….he really is the most disorganised child there is. I don't mind most of the time but early in the morning my patience wears thin sometimes.

    Plans for today:

-General tidy up and give the house a quick lick and a promise until I get the time/inclination to do it properly.
-Give the front of the house a second coat of paint.
-Plant lavender, radish, parsley, coriander and thyme seeds. I really have been bitten by the gardening bug this year! I blame it on all the gardening posts on here!
-Make something for tea that everyone can grab when they want. It's Beavers and Scouts tonight. Dd is a Beaver leader and ds2 is a Beaver. Ds1 is in Scouts. They all have to leave at different times. Add to that the homeworks and me working tonight…..it will be hell on wheels here after school! Normally I don’t go out until 7.00-7.30ish and home by 10.30-11.00ish so there is a sort of smooth turn around... but this week there are so many calls that I need to leave by 5.30pm to get round them all.

Anyway, off to take the little one to school and then I'll have another cup of coffee and a browse before I decide what to do first.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Good morning everyone :hello:

It's a really beautiful morning here but I can't stop to enjoy it icon9.gif

tru, I hope DS's visit to the dentist isn't too traumatic

Penny Pincher, I hope you are having a better day today (((hugs)))

Moggins, didn't get to say earlier that I'm so glad your first day went well, :T

Hugs to everyone else feeling unwell or low.

Got some of my seedling planted out into their permanent pots last night, so fingers crossed the weather stays nice.

All the washing I've been doing has left me with a huge pile of ironing which I've been trying not to look at... hope there is something good on TV tonight to motivate me!

Tonight I really need to get living room cleaned up, including behind the chairs and sofa, the spiders are making themselves known early this year!

For anyone who saw my very poor pictures of the large shoal of fish, I'm reliably informed that they were bream, and they were all together because they were spawning. It's great to have knowledgable neighbours :D No sign of the fish now though, I'm told that there were over 200 of them.

Have a lovely day everyone :A
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Morning all, very quick one as I didn't reailise the time!!(got a couple of phone calls to make before 8:45. Hope everybody is wel and happy.Have made a list but as was "helped" by a cat can't read it!(Will post latr) DH uber stressed and VERY unhappy. We have been talking since 4:50 but just go round in circles. Dont know what to do, but will have a good think today and try ot sort something out. I have done all the cat stuff, washed up and planned the tea!(for me thats good!) Got a huge lump on my forearm where a scratch seems to be going strange, funny thing is that its not a cat scratch(our lot are far too laid back to scratch it would takefar too much effort for them to bother!! No I caught myself with one of my paper thin nails and it didn't hurt but looks rather fetching now!! Anyway off to phone, will be back latr. Have a nice day and please take care.

    Morning All

A quickie from me as I have to get Spud organized to go off to mother & toddler group to let off some steam...he's turning into a very boistrous little...ahem....monster!

Amanda : hope your cat turns up, mine used to do this & I was in knots everytime until she came home. A horrible thing to do but if it gives you peice of mind : you can phone your local environmental health department & ask if they have collected any roadside remains which match your description, they keep a log so should be able to put your mind at rest on this score.

Well, WM on, later I need to photograph & weigh some ebay stuff ready for listing on their 10p day tomorrow. HM pate on HM rolls for dinner tongiht I think, nice & helathy & easy & lovely to eat in the garden on a warm evening.

    Have a fab day everyone.

Hi to all - I am absolutely mortified    - someone asked yesterday - I don't know if it was on this thread - when the next 10p listing day was for eBay and I said Wednesday 18th and it's not - it's tomorrow! I am really really sorry for getting it wrong!:confused::confused:
I hope I am forgiven. I've already updated another thread that I'd misled! Once again, I am deeply sorry!

mrs mix hope the injection works quickly for you and you finally get a good nights sleep.
old mcdonald fantastic idea about the camping night. Can my DS come - that sounds just like his cup of tea. :D
Amanda try not to stress too much. My cat also went missing for a week and it turned out he had adopted another family nearby. They are very self-sufficient animals. ((hugs))
Catowen hope your "get up and go" comes back soon. ;):D
tru hope master tru feels much better soon. I can't stand to have pain anywhere in my head - the rest of my body, no problem, but my head. Nope, just can't do it.
PenPen belated birthday wishes to Miss Penguin and congratulations on her premium bond win too. A perfect end to a perfect day for her. :T
lambanana sounds as though you may need to slip the odd treat into your agenda today. Hope you get through your list quickly. ;)
crazychik well done on getting a whole new wardrobe for free. :T I'm sure DS will be fine as you are keeping an eye on how things develop. I'm not looking forward to that myself I have to say. (I would love to hang around Kevin Kline - my avatar - or Colin Firth, not just any boys you see. :rotfl: )
Pink-winged you have a very busy day lined up. Try and make some time for yourself in amongst all the other jobs.
anniestar (((hugs))) Hope things improve for you soon.
((((hugs)))) to everyone else who needs or wants one. I have read all your threads.

Phhhhhhhhhew! I'm out of breath now after all that.

Last day of the holidays for DD today so plans are to get the rest of the homework done (not so much left now, thank goodness), get uniform laid out for tomorrow, shoes shined, etc. After that we are having a monopoly tournament apparently.

Of course in between all this I still have to do some washing, cooking, cleaning, tidying up, etc. A woman's work and all that.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx

    Morning all!

Got a late start at work today so I'm home catching up on jobs....oops, wel, I'm just having 10 mins on here honestly! :o

I desperately need to clean the car out as it's a complete tip. So long as I get that done before I leave for work, I won't feel so bad. I also need to wrap and post an Amazon sale. :)

Better have a look at the 'No Motivation' thread on here as well - to persuade me to switch off and get some stuff done. Hope everybody else is feeling more productive! xx
