i havent owned an iron in over 20 years.
either fold the clothes or if you need a shirt ironed just stick it in the tumber dryer for 5 min.
saves me loads of time

we do the sock thing in the form of little black gloves purchased from primarni...when one goes it gets paired with another and hopefully we get enough for the whole winter

Oh, and frozen diced onions have been a god send, no more slicing them, same with frozen chilli, ginger and garlic.

i peel my mushrooms i wouldnt fancy the compost in my spag bol...each to their own though

haha, funny how we all have different ideas of whats 'normal' though isnt it. I wonder if we got it from our parents? i presume so.

FYI - Big bag of frozen garlic ( like ice cubes ) was reduced to 49p in Sainsburys today.

I put the knife under the edge of the lid and lift up and this releases the air!!

I use a radiator painting roller to reach the handle of my window to pull it closed over my sink...I'm only 5ft!!! :rotfl:
