Pen Pen our daughters share a birthday!! Little Miss MimiF is 5 today, she came in this morning for a cuddle, singing "I'm 5", she then looked in the mirror and said "Daddy do I look taller today?" Bless her she obviously thinks being 5 should add an extra 5 inches to her!!

She had birthday breakfast with lots of pressies and balloons which keep bursting for no reason and has gone to school, badges on and goodies for her classmates in her hand. It's weird as both my kids usually have their birthdays in the holidays so having one at school is a novelty for them.

Happy birthday to Miss Mimi :bdaycake: :EasterBun

Posh Spice's birthday today, too! Bet she doesn't get balloons and gingerbread people.

    Afternoon all
just back from the hospital and its all good news. dd's grommets are still in despite her having very thin ear drums and her hearing in her right ear is very good. The left ear is still a bit dodgy but nowhere near as bad as it has been. She has been given the go-ahead to swim next week at butlins so long as she wears her earplugs - any lapses in hearing must now be put down to preadolescent selectivity :)
About a month ago she threw a handful of flower seeds into one of her 2ft square raised beds and they are all doing very well - especially the radish! how that got there is anyone's guess.
    have a good day all

    Afternoon all!
Not been on for a few days (I don't think) but I have been reading as much as I can, got a bad case of the migrane and hopefully an afternoon nap will ease that and the fatigue too... *fingers crossed*

I need to call the Dr tomorrow to see if they can get me an appt, there are a few things I need to speak to him about and need to have my 3 monthly Thyroid test and a Lupus test as I can't remember having one done when I had the plethora of bloodwork last January.

Hm, what else? Well as I'm not feeling too great today I guess that I won't get as much done as I want to... I need to tidy up the kitchen at least and get a wash on, but when OH awakes in the evening from his sleep, he can help me clean out the hamster :)

Happy holidays to scuzz, JackieO and Loubee
Hugs to Penpin, Mrs Mix and mushypeas
Happy birthday to Miss Penpen and Miss MimiF

Ther are lots of hugs going spare too.

I am going to chill out in front of some trash TV, a cuppa, a couple of crumpets and a slice of the Gypsy Tart I got from Asda on yellow sticker last night! I tried to make Gypsy Tart the other week and ended up in tears as it as such a catastrophe!! Ah well.

Simple dinner tonight, either pasta and sauce or ham, egg, chips and beans.

Going to make a banoffi pie tomorrow, eek! Hopefully it'll turn out alright!

    xx

  • Hello everybody. Sorry I've not posted in a while but I've been finding life a bit difficult. My panic attacks have come back with avengance. Can't go on meds for them as I'm having IVF (besides it wouldn't look good would it?) and waiting list for psychology is about 8-10 months here. Sooo, I've been busy trying to do the garden which is hard when you're still off work and people keep telling you to take it easy. My avon round has also been sliding and I should have got the last campaign out but can't face it. My wound started healing just before Easter so the District Nurses could stop coming - hurrah (only a month after discharge). Going back to work at the start of May - boo - but am looking forward to it as a form of a break! I feel that there is a sense that because I am at home I can do all the work and think for other people as well (we were meant to be going away for a few days at Easter but because I didn't organise it - likewise our summer holiday which I was hoping to get a cottage in Dorest for and the ones that are left now are all beyond our price range..............) hence the panic attacks and a bit of depression. However, the good news is that I have managed to sell some of my cross stitch magazines on a cross stitching forum site. So off to Singapore surface mail they will be heading. 7 down 143 to go..... Nearly had a "turn" the other day when I found out that Mr Rage is owed over £1,600 from somebody he supplied with underfloor heating in NOVEMBER!!! Has he chased it??? I have drafted a strongly worded letter, printed it off and put a stamp on the envelope - I can't sign it as well!! I despair. Right I am off to write a letter to somebody in Japan - how exotic!!
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Made carrot and coriander soup in the slow cooker - DD made sweet potato and leek soup and three loads of washing are blowing on the line.

Making a salad as well so that we have a choice.

Having a really lazy day as all Dds are out. DH and I are on computers next to each other and sharing a pot of tea - bliss!

    Hugs to everybody feeling poorly.
