Looks a little dull today.... hopefully it will brighten up.
I may need to go to the doctors today as I have been itching all over since Thursday....even inside my ears!!!! I have looked at all the obvious, washpowder, sprays, deo, perfume but it is all stuff I have used for years! I am hoping that it isn't an allergy to something eaten but then I can't think I have tried anything different
Anyhow have a fab day everyone x x x:heartpuls Number 1 Aunty Gok fan :heartpuls0 -
Morning everyone
((((hugs)))) to those who need one for various reasons. Fingers crossed to those doing tests or having tests. Have fun to those going on holiday. Don't forget to send us a postcard!
I haven't been on this site as much as usual and my bank account can now testify to this.   I'm so annoyed at myself. I had been doing so well in living within my means and reducing the debt I have and now I have gone into my overdraft and added to the credit card too. All because DS and DD are on holiday and I was feeling a bit fed up too. Well, recovery starts today. There will be absolutely no unnecessary spending. I am determined to get things back on track asap.
Have a good day. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

A good start to the morning, checked my bank balance against my finances spreadsheet and realised that I'd taken two of my bills off the spreadsheet twice so I actually have just over £50 more than I thought I had :j

*wave* hey folks! I've been reading for yonks now and never posted... but I've just read all your posts and it made me smile to realise how many of your activities i've already done for 'April 17th' and how the world is a big place!!
I'll be off to bed in a few hours, but my bm has another few hours to run, and i'd like to get a raisin loaf in for the morning if possible, and i should really do a quick tidy up and get my clothes ready for tomorrow.
Things are easier here than they usually are because it's the easter hols still and my dp is a teacher, so mornings are very chilled out and i don't have to make packed lunches or anything
Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Hi again!
OH left a bit earlier than planned to hopefully miss the traffic so already I have cleaned the bathroom, made the bed, put the ironing board up ready, cleared up the breakfast things, showered, dried my hair and put on my make-up,
written a very long 'to do' list for today, put load one on the line, got the salad stuff and meat out ready to make tonight's dinner (which will be my first job after here) and have just made a cup of coffee to drink while I sit here and catch up!:T :T Don't know what happened to the weather here but glad some of you are having some of the good stuff!:T :T Yesterday was brilliant but I must have bragged about it too much because it's very dull here and a little cool; have put washing out but will have to keep an eye on it in case it rains!
Have had a quick read through of the last few posts on yesterday's threads so here goes: Amie - I hate spiders, maybugs, rats and toads   but love frogs:j :j - we have loads in our pond and they have produced hundreds of tadpoles - I think they're fascinating!
Crazychik - thanks for the info re HM cards - has given me some real inspiration!
Essex-girl -glad the plaster is off and hope recovery goes well
Cmathews - Caroline - well done with sorting out that horrendous eBay problem.
Smoky - good pics again! School sounds great with such small classes - hope they settle in well and good luck at the hospital.
Scuzz, Loubee and JackieO -:j :j Have brilliant holidays and post to us if you get the chance while you're away!
Mrs Mix- I so hope things get better for you and that you have a good day today:A :A
Penelope Penguin - Happy Birthday to DD - fourteen, eh? I almost remember that!:T :T
Tomorrow I was going to put some stuff on eBay but I see they're having a 'list for 10p an item' day on Thursday:j :j so will do the piccies tomorrow and list them on Thursday. Yesterday I put eight books on Green Metropolis - my first go so I hope it's successful - OH will be thrilled because I am always buying books (second-hand, of course, which is why I buy so many!) and he has to keep building me bookcases. Thing is, I absolutely love reading and I buy all sorts from children's books (not just for the grandchildren!), reference books, cookery and gardening and craft books, novels etc. I have hundreds! OH makes me go through them every so often but that only encourages me to go looking for more. He has promised me a book-lined study one day! Heaven:A :A
Oh, also, elona - hope your DD is better now:j :j
Snoozer hope you get that internal promotion!:T :T
Moggins - glad you survived the first day yesterday:T :T
Well, I am going to have to go now and resist the urge to look at the 'new posts' or I'll be here for ages.
Will look in again and hope you all have a brilliant day!KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

Hi mossstar and welcome to the thread! Great to have someone from 'the other side'! Says 8.34 a.m. here - what time is it where you are? Be interesting to know the time difference! I just know you'll love it on this thread so keep posting!*wave* hey folks! Morning Guys!
I will try again:rolleyes:
Havent been too good these past 2 days. Still not feeling great but thought I would pop on and say thanks for all the well wishes:D
WM is on, DW is on and toilet is cleaned. OH is finishing the kitchen...about bloody time;) and today I am just resting up again. I have had a shower and feel a little more human. The house is generally clean and tidy.
We are looking for a new BBQ and possibly some garden furniture. I would really like to have loads of friends round through the summer but we dont have alot of garden stuff. Any ideas? A BBQ will mean that I will have little or no work to do as friends will bring stuff and look after me and can use paper plates etc, so less washing up:D ......it sounds stupid, but I want to start living my life and enjoying it!
OH downloaded the new House series and it has been fabulous...I love it! I have had to laugh though, that in nearly every episode if someone is dying they suggest it may be Lupus:eek:        ....trying to explain to a 12yr old that mummy is not going to die (just yet lol) is quite difficult:rotfl: ....Does anyone else like House? I have a consultant nearly as rude as him at Kings, but he is a fine surgeon and is rarely wrong, so I suppose they deserve some arrogance!
Anyway, Im waffling...again!
Nice seeing you MATH yesterday and I hope this new power of authority isnt going to your head. If it has Mrs MATH will soon kick it out of you:rotfl:

Hugs to all.

:hello: Morning OS'ers:hello:
:grouphug: Of you need one:grouphug:
:j :j my new cookers has arrived, guess what, its bigger than the one they took out, so I have to have it in the middle of our tiny kitchen floor until the chap comes to cut back the work surface:eek:
I was up early waiting for them to come, OH has gone off to his friends for a couple of hours, he is helping him with a job in the garden........I am also waiting for the chap to come to the sink, the drain pipe is blocked, I have tried all the OS remedies to no avail, so the council can come and deal with it.
The smart new cooker has an eye level grill which has thwarted one of my plans, I was going to get sheles fitted, can't now......But I have a huge drawer in the bottom which will take all my baking tins out of the cupboard, yay, just after I have bought a rack for them from Lakeland, oh shoot, might try and see of the saucepans will go in instead.
Nothing really planned for today except to go into the loft again this afternoon and put up some more of the plastic boxes we have emptied, if they will go through the hole!!!! I might be able to put some of the empty boxes into the plastic crates, it will look a bit tidier then.
:coffee:calls, off to put the kettle on, nice morning, cool but sunny, sitting with the window open, wish we had a little balcony, I would be out on it!!!!!Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hiya all,
I love House too PP.
It has too be my fav show.
Enjoy your holidays Scuzz, Loubee & JackieO.
Been running around the last few days. Got lost yesterday
 my map reading skills aren't the best. Off to Bleinham (sp) Castle today. Went up the Tor yesterday. We didn't come across the path until nearly the top, before that we were mountain goats.
Is is normal to have this *fog* all the time? It reminds me of bush fire season back home, obviously you don't have that
but that what's it like.
Well DH out the shower so my turn. Have a lovely day everyone & well Mosstar. ByeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
