Got an email I won a trip to Barcelona, but...

The apology was pathetic -a generic email copy and pasted to everyone for the "inconvenience" - it wasnt inconvenient - it was pure upset and dissatisfaction at finding out you have won a holiday you could never afford and then having it taken away from you.

i too got the email, it sounded amazing but i did get the too good to be true vibe, also i had a mini heart attack at the thought of someone cutting my hair

Putting in Barcelona today, I saw numerous posts saying 'won', thought hang on, best not get too excited, especially as winning email said 'we will be in touch'

Realised it was a balls up, thought, feel sorry for whoever hit the send button, then giggled slightly at the workload they just created, and the righteous indignation and demands for compensation that will be shouted for.
