Hi
Just wondering if anyone could help me. I'm in the process of filling in the N1 form, and I am exempt from fees, so do I still need to enter the court fees on the form or leave it out.
Thanks in advance

I left that bit blank. Just entered the amount i was claiming left the rest blank. Clerk at court said this was right. However, when you take yours in ask the clerk to check it over, they dont seem to mind if they are not too busy.

Sarah,
Did you also find and fill in the exemption form?
Dont forget to take along any proof you have of benefits you receive ( your most recent letter from benefit office) they will photocopy it and give the original back to you.
Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

justlaugh is right, you'll get an exempt form from the courts, dead simple to fill in. i left the court fees bit blank in my form, and the total, and the clerk said she would see to it. hope she does, as dont want nationwide coming back with a reason to not pay?
as an afterthought, i have since had charges added since filing at court. do i need to start a separate claim for them?0 -
Im not sure but I dont think they can be added onto the initial claim so yes i think you have to start a new claim.
I have been really good and not gone overdrawn since i started doing this, ( its been tough though)
I would have a read up in some of the other threads, im sure ive seen a few.

since changing banks, i have not been charged. nationwide are only charging me for being overdrawn as it is their charges which have made me overdrawn!!
i have since read the other posts, and figure that i will either ask for a cheque (to be paid into new account) or as a condition of settlement that they add the £80 to the amount offered, resulting in repayment wiping out overdrawn balance.0 -
Yes that sounds like the best thing to do.
alot less hassle.
