well. Im back. It was surreal. Got there at 9.30. Didnt want to be late. Court was to start at 10. The usher advised that everyone against lloyds would go in together. That made me feel a bit better.

There were five claiments and two people from lloyds. (I assume from scams). First solicitor had three people on her list. Two she had aggred to settle with five minutes before. One claiment hadn't shown up so she asked for the claim to be thrown out and her fee paid. Judge agreed to throw out claim as attendance is required but wouldn't pay her fee. Other solicitor that was there, there claim appeared a little more complex. Claimant has to come back via fast track at latter date. That left me and another lady. As no one was there to defend their claims, they were struck out and we won by default.:j :j :j :j
This man:money: is a saint. Oh and the judge was really nice too.
lloyds have to pay up withing 14 days. If not I must ring the court and they will enforce it.:T :T

Thanks for explaining what you went through so that I too can gather courage should it come to this point for me . waiting 2nd July deadline for Hailfax. At least I now know I may not be on my own.

    Congratulations :T

No probs. Glad to have advised people what to expect. It was quite funny at times, especially when the court usher said "everyone against lloyds follow me" and we all did like lemmings.:rotfl:

    Hey there,
I am entitled to an exemption with the court case an my claim for my bank charges.
Thing is when I went to MCOL there was no option to make an exemption in the payment details, so I phoned the MCOL helpline an asked what I could do about it.
The lady told me I could use my nearest local court.

Has anyone taken there bank to there local court?
If so do I need to attend, take a solictor, or any documents?
If anyone has done this could they please explain what to expect, as I have never been into a court before.

I sent my letter off threating court action back on the 16th june an never recieved a reply off LloydsTSB.
So I have started to fill out the MCOL form an got stuck on the payment options.
Do I need to be swift about the court actions?

    Thanks in advanced
