Do you do things just because your Mum did?

My mum always said that you should never hang washing out overnight, so I never have either! Has anyone got any other examples?

Mine said you should never do any washing on New Year's Day so I don't (usually too hungover anyway;)).

I do that, once we all went to Butlins and the chalet was disgustingly filthy and I remember saying 'I have cleaned my house from top to botom to go back to and I come to this':rotfl::rotfl:

I remember that woman from how clean is your house saying she hoovers all the way through and hoovers right up to the front door and then closes it behind her, I have done that:rotfl:
