No way because I'd be collecting margarine tubs & jam jars, never having a bath during a period, never using tampons as they may kill me, not shaving under my arms or using deodorant, & wandering around with grey hair as she thinks natural is best  How did I turn out so well I ask myself :D

We both make trifle the way we had it as a kid - Swiss roll, chopped bananas and hot custard.

What? what? My head hurts reading this.....

I thought *everyone* in the world did those rock hard sponge fingers in the bottom, strawberry jelly, tin of (cold) custard then whipped (not spray) cream. 100s + 1000s and boom. Party time :rotfl:
  • I'm with Emsywoo, I thought it was illegal to make trifle any other way?! Even raspberry jelly instead of strawberry is pushing the boundaries!

You have to save the hundreds and thousands so the youngest person in the house can sprinkle them on. Any leftovers get used on Ready Brek the next day :D

I've never peeled a mushroom, how odd!

I do wipe them if they are dirty though.

Hmmm things I do because my mum and dad did them....

Always rinse plates before they go in the dishwasher

Rinse raw chicken under the cold tap before cooking

Waste not want not - anything not eaten goes in the fridge for later :money:

Can't think of any others at the moment, I'm sure there are more though.

butter the bread before cutting a slice off.

grate a block of cheese and put in tupperware box in fridge

put a peice of mistleto behind a picture every year. - dont actually know why we do that.

last grass cut of the year throw the grass cuttings on the flower beds. - same no idea why

rush out to buy oranges when i get the sniffles :rotfl:

fill my hot water bottle from kettle even though it says not to.

i am now questioning my sanity:(
