Blocking someone with no credit card on file is stupid - only sellers need a card on file.0

Since your buyer has paid, why not now leave them positive feedback thanking them for prompt payment.
This will mean you don't have to worry quite as much, as your buyer will now have a feedback of one, instead of the very worrying zero score.:D0 -

Not wanting to be "stupid" I will remove that block and see what effect it has on my sales.
My believe was that members with a Credit card on file would use Ebay more responsibly and I would have less problems with possible scammers/non payers etc.0 -

But some people will never sell on Ebay - but are happy spending thousands. You are blocking them.
I do insist the buyer has a paypal account - as i only accept paypal - so i don't get complete timewasters.0 -
I take your point, my buyer requirement activity log only shows 4 people blocked in the last 2 months. Selling 70-100 items a month, maybe this block doesn't affect me as much as others.
Unless the CC block isn't reported in the log.0 -

I have 4 blocked a day lol - but my requirements are as tight as possible - apart from the credit card bit. After all, if they have paypal - they probably have a credit card on there. But as Ebay only insist on credit cards for sellers - thats the only one i don't add.
I suppose more ebayers buy AND sell nowadays - but that wasn't always the case.
Actually - just looked at my log - the 4 day is usually the same person - it must take 4 go's to realise they aint getting through lol :-)0 -

WHY? I buy as a paypal guest. I have no intention of opening paypal or registering a card as I have a few and decide which to use as I see fit.
Also I don't do feedback, I am simply shopping and see no reason to do it.This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

It applies to people with a Paypal Account only - that means no guests0
