Winter Heating Allowance

Hi, just wondering if anybody has had this yet ? The £200 winter fuel payment? My neighbour says he's had his letter and his money is in.

Last year mine arrived on the 27th of this month. So, bit early yet to be looking for it.

How long will it be before someone posts that we 'greedy babyboomers' shouldn't be getting the winter fuel allowance?

I read on another thread on this forum, that the dates defining 'baby boomers' are between 1945 and 1964.

Both myself and my daughter fit into this category:eek:

Fatballz seems to be the expert on babyboomers.

I understand it to be those of us born just after the war.
