    Good morning everyone,

Not going to be doing much flying today - its DDs birthday next week, so most of today will be spent taking her friends to McDonalds and to build a bear for a little party for her. I have emptied the DW this morning, and had a cuppa, and im thinking of having a mocha square for breakfast - yummy!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely day, take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Got the first of possibly 4 loads of washing in, then gonna wing it the rest of the day, dropping teenie off for work then me and littley are going to the flicks to see Mr Bean @ 11am, hopefully the early-bird rates still apply on a Sunday tee hee! I've decided I don't get out half as much as I should and a day out always cheers me up. Probs end up going to McDonalds too for lunch.

Morning ladies. Made a start, washing out and next load in. I do wonder sometimes if we do wear the amount of clothes I wash as it never seems to stop!

    Rest of the day

    Car boot sale hopefully
Finish kitchen about 1/2 hours worth of work left
Get paint off kitchen floor :o
    S&S bathroom
Remove door in sitting room (because new FF is too wide to fit through)
    Put laundry away once dry
Make meals & wash up, chilli out for tea
    10 minutes paperwork sorting

embb hope you enjoy Mr Bean, he's a huge thing in Austria, found out that when I looked after two Austrian kids when their family were visitng a neighbour many years ago. The parents said life is so boring sometimes over there as is TV so the lack of language helps, kids adored him and the youngest took his Mr Bean teddy everywhere! (Oh yes it's fun having 2 children for 6 hours when you don't speak the same language, but we managed and had fun) Lovely kids but they must be well into teen years by now :o Romana the girl was learning english at school just after that and sent me a postcard - To the best babysitter in the world - bless her

Today we're getting a treat for DS as on his sticker chart he only got four black crosses this week! That's out of 28!!! :j

He gets stickers or crosses for:

    Dry bed
    Sleeping through
    Tidy room
    Being a good boy

Well done DS! :D DH wants to buy him a bionicle monster, but it's up to little man in the end. DH only wants the bionicle thingie because he wants to play with it himself!

Just the dailies today, so I'll be employing DH and DS to help before they get to choose a new toy. DH has proclaimed himself "The Big Boss" today, so I've elected to take a day's holiday. We'll see who wants to be the big boss when it comes to making lunch.

    Happy days to all. ;)

    Hiya
Well we managed to move the shed but a lot of its contents are still all over the garden. DH has taken children to swimming lessons and when he comes back we're going to try and finish off and then all go up to the allotment. Potatoes to plant.

Not been on for a few days as computer crashed.

I'm going to spend the next hour catching up on washing and having a quick tidy up in places so i'm ready to start afresh tomorrow.

    Hugs to everyone in need.

I have to admit that after a rocky start to this week, with me feeling so unable to cope with him, he has proven to me on many occasions what a lovely chap he really is. I'm now ashamed that I doubted him and my own parenting. All it took was a shift in my attitude and perspective towards him and he had the chance to shine. :j

As soon as I stopped trying to make us both perfect, we both had the time to have some fun and appreciate the things we DO like about each other instead of being at logger-heads.

I was so busy blaming him four being four and not understanding me and my responsibilities. Sometimes I just have to give myself a good talking to. It's like my mum says : "Every time you point the finger, blaming someone, there are three fingers pointing right back at you."

Wise words. Shame we never listen to our mums until we've screwed up already! :o

Thanks to all of you for the time, advice and shoulders to cry on that you've lent me this week. Turns out there's more to flying than just plain old cleaning. It's nice to know that there are others out there just like me, trying to juggle all of the needs of ourselves, our homes and our families.

    Thankyou. Ramble over! :rotfl:

Two loads of washing on the line.

Veggies prepared ready for roast today. Rhubarb crumble made, will be cooked when oven is on for roast.

Generally tidied up downstairs but it's not that bad because I was here on my own yesterday.

Another pottering day I think. DH is watching MotoGP. Deep joy:rolleyes:

Maralum it was as though you were talking about me :rotfl:

I keep having to remind myself that my DS is only just 6 but looks as big as some 8yrs old. He will still have tantrums and I just need to understand why.

Aren't mum's wise :D I vowed I would never quote/act/do the things my mum did/said and find myself quoting her daily. Mind you if the children and I end up like me and my mum I'll be happy best of friends we are :rotfl:
