well have spent an hour in bedroom filing and tidying - still more to go but trying to see if dd2 will have a nap - she is poorly and has been sat on dh lap all afternoon in garden. He is now getting the dinner on and i might take a turn cuddling her as she doesn't seem to be settling. If she does i am going to spend 15 mins doing dresser cupboard as that will help with some mess in bedroom!! it will be filed in there.0

Aww bless another poorly little one. Hope she feels better soon, just spoke to a friend, her daughters poorly with sore throat, headache and earache, downside is she's getting married Friday and the little one is a bridesmaid. Fingers crossed she's better and the rest don't catch it!
Wohooo my new lawnmower is here, I've been using a very old one of my Mam's which was fastened together with more duck tape than anything else, even the handle, probably more tape there than plastic, but got myself one of these lightweight hover thingamy ones. Looks good but unfortunately no time left today to use itOne day I might be more organised...........

Good luck with your mower lil_me. I hate having new things, having to learn how to use them. I'm still a bit iffy about the shed. I know it's all shiny and new but I'd have still been happy with the old one if it hadn't leaked like a sieve.
The worst new things are washing machines and VCRs. Learning what programmes to use and how to set things up.0 -
Hence I said no time to use it, by the time I suss it it'll be dark
:rotfl: I liked the old one but it was getting dangerous and bearings were starting to be very noisey, sounded like an old train not a mower.
Got to go get the kids in a mo, will remake bed when I get back, washers been on non stop this afternoon, doing all the winter coats before I put them into vacuum bags until next year, time to take bets on when it'll snow because I am doing this!
*Edit* was dreading puuting the mower together but says on the box ready assembled YIPPEE!!!One day I might be more organised...........

I brought his stinking heap of skiddies down though.. ggrrrr.. is there any need to leave it to build up like that??
I filled a binbag and a half with rubbish.. binmen come in the morning and both wheelie bins are overflowing and I have a few spares to drop in the neighbours bins!!.. problem is I can see the carpet again now and want to rip it off the floor!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Phew!! I am here honest! Was hoping it would be the bathroom today as was out all morning and then had to take DD1 to get her pre-school jab this PM. So I made the executive decision that I would do bathroom today and upstairs tomorrow (I like to do all bedrooms together - less hoover lugging that way)
So today I have
Hoovered through downstairs
S & S Kitchen
Bathroom (mirror, tiles, etc, etc)
Done pre-school drop off/pick up
Mowed lawn front & back at Mum & Dads
Did some shopping
Lunch
Trip to park on way to Dr Surgery
Trip to handymans
Dr's for jabs
Just got to make tea. Have ironing to put away but figured I can do that tomorrow.
Worked out I have spent over 3 hours walking from home to preschool to mums to preschool to home to park to doctors to home - no wonder I am pooped!
Also need to:-
Put mince in slow cooker so I can make Minced Beef & Onion pie for tomorrows tea (will leave it to cook over night me thinks)
Put BM on0 -
When we moved house we kept the same phone number but had got married and as the phone was in my name I would say either no one of that name here or she's dead. Either tended to have the desired effect.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
