    Morning all.

Lounge looks just as it did last night after I finished as we didn't use it after I had cleaned in there. Poked my head round the door a couple of times to enjoy the look of tidiness.

After being inspired by DS's lovely tidy room last week when we had re-jigged his toys into lidded storage boxes, I'm going to get everything out from under our bed  tonight and see if I can organise that a bit more. Brave talk when it's hours away from me!

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning everyone,
I'm going to do the things on the bedroom list today with the exception of changing the bed as it doesn't need doing at the moment. I've already got a load of washing in and it looks like good drying weather today, so I'll have to go and get myself dressed and put it out in a bit. I did a bit of landing yesterday when we did the hall (cos I didn't know where to draw the line) so hopefully it won't take me too long!
    Have nice days!

Morning all. Woken up with a sore shoulder this morning. Putting it down to holding the baby for so long last night perched on the edge of the sofa (trying to convince myself I'm not doing any harm by doing exercise ;) ). Also very tired this morning and DD is already driving me up the wall  We've only been in each other company for 30 minutes max and already we've argued about which uniform she will wear, what she's having for her packed lunch and the volume on her radio  She's currently in the bathroom singing "Shine" but just at that pitch that grates on my nerves, kind of like the dull after thud of a numatic drill

Anyways, I should really sort out my list as I have no idea what I'm doing today (copy & paste is a wonderful thing :rotfl:) :

      • Wipe down paintwork
      • Windows will be done with the livingroom.
    • Bedrooms
      • Strip bed linen (only in the masterbedroom, DD was only changed on Monday;))

I think I'll leave it at that today. Not expecting to get it all done but some will be better than none...and none is what would happen if I didn't have a list/this thread :o:rotfl:

Right, off to make the beds and kick DD's bottom into gear!

Ok, so Master Bedroom and landing I think I can cope with today, although if anyone saw the state of my bedroom they would wonder how on earth we even manage to get to bed!!

Last week the window cleaner turned up and I had to rush upstairs to close the blinds so that he couldn't see into our room! How bad was that!

Yesterday I didn't get the lounge done, but I did the hall and the utility room (definite hot spot) and made a start on the mountain of ironing. Lets hope for a more productive day today.

Have a good one, everyone x

I have wellies on if that counts! Been for a walk with the dogs hence wellies. Anyway, bedroom is almost done, pulled my back coughing so going to get DP to carry vacuum cleaner upstairs later for me.

Been shopping around for radiator rest of the morning, the one on my Jeep sprung a leak last night but worse than the one on our Volvo (which leaks occasionally) and needs doing pronto. £375 quoted at first, found one for £100 on ebay and he's knocked a few quid off as ordered it direct instead of him paying ebay fees :D So my car will hopefully be usable tomorrow evening, downside is tomorrow won't get much flying done as will be helping DP fix the car so might be sneaky and do some of it today.

Got to go out in a mo and take DP to dentist (thankfully had appointment booked as he has toothache) so will catch you lot later. Now get your backsides in gear those who aren't motivated or you're all barred! :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

Well I'm still out of step but as long as I'm doing something that's OK, isn't it?

Did living room and stairs this morning.
One load of washing done and out on the line (it's lovely and sunny)
Been out in garden - my green recycling wheelie bin was emptied yesterday so that meant I could cut back some more stuff. Had a good sweep up after too out there. The grass is growing too, even though we've still had no rain. I'm planning to do it on Saturday.

Waiting for Mr Asda to come now.

Pigpen - *BOOT* Get going girl ;):D Oh and by the way I ain't no domestic Goddess (been reading back over the threads) - I have an airing cupboard fit to burst with things that I can't store anywhere else, a pile of ironing, dirty dishes by the sink and my floors haven't been mopped in a fortnight :p:rotfl:

Well todays lil_me's list is done :j It didn't take as long as I thought it would but there's still some jobs I want to get done today so I can go kick my friends backside! She's only had her baby by c-section on the 10th, came home Friday and this morning my cousin got up to find all the cleaning done and my mate had been up since 5.30 doing it :mad: I texted her a telling off and I think I might pop in to see her either this afternoon (if she's not at the hospital - her stitches have popped :rolleyes: ) or tomorrow to make sure she takes some time out! I swear she's going to do herself a major injury if she's not careful!

Anyways I need to see how my list is going as my notebook version is just "Master bedroom, dailies, ebay items & leftovers":rotfl:

Right, post has just arrived and it's reminded me of another thing I need to add to my list of jobs - pending OH fixing Microsoft Money - setting up a new money file for this year with all the bills etc properly up-to-date and backing up  Okay, off to check email etc and then I'll clean the brass, windows are going to streak like mad today when I come to clean them I can see it coming!
