Good morning everyone,
Not a good day today - just dont seem to have any get up and go (it got up and went!!!). Ive made my bed, put some washing going and made a stew in the SC - but thats it. Still walked the children to school, but with the LOs that tends to be a stroll rather than a walk, so didnt really get me going.
Still need to finish the bathroom and toilets, and something has leaked from my bin in the kitchen, so my next job is to clean that up!!
Might do some bits in my room, but tend to leave upstairs til the weekend normally - do want to finish the hall tho, but thats just the shelves by the door.
Right, off to do something ...................
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
I was laughing so much about the where do babies come from thread LOL until dd on the way to school this morning (shes 9) suddenly just came out with "is sex pleasurable" OMG I almost crashed!!
I was so surprised by this as it came so out of the blue - I replied not as much as chocolate!!!! Poor girl, what have I done to her. I know I should have done the talk of yes in a caring relationship etc etc the responisible talk, but no I came up with chocolate!!! Got food on the brain as joined WW yesterday. Its all your fault, hosue is gettign in order so I decided about time body got in order as well.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Brilliant susieb! I love it, and for a nine-year-old quite correct too!
It appears to be another one of "those" days. I think the pregnancy may have caught up with me now. I'm tired, grouchy and itchy.
I don't really feel like flying, so I'm going to teach my son a lesson in responsibility. Apparently, the best way to teach your children not to be lazy is to say out loud: "I really don't feel like doing this today, so I'd better get on with it anyway". Then do it. Hopefully, it'll teach him something, but if not - it may teach me!!! :rotfl: and at least then, it'll be done.
Right, on the count of three...0 -

Hi All
Quick pit stop home for lunch today so thought I'd catch up on thread.
Managed to fly through the bedroom this morning whilst still in my PJ's and did the landing with the stairs yesterday.
Never touched any of my K2 size ironing pile and left for work this morning in a creased shirt. Had to keep my jacket on all morning to do the pressed by body effect instead.
Still have to sort a cupboard out (thanks lil_me for the 10p e-bay reminder, must get some new batteries for my camara this afternoon), don't think 10 mins will be enough to touch under the stair Jenga perhaps do another instead and leave the monster for the weekend.
Rest of my day like this;
Must go do some more work, though not too much.
Hang out bedding, as the sun is now out
Buy batteries & butter (ran out this morning)
Iron, at least a shirt for tomorrow so I can take off jacket
Tidy a cupboard0 -
Well, blow me down with a feather.
I did as I said. Told boy "I don't really want to clean today, but I'd better get on with it anyway."
Boy replied "Well, I'd better come and help you then mummy, we don't want you getting worn out." :j
I nearly cried! Move over Mr Motivator, you've got nothing on my four-year-old. I've done the washing up, S & S'd the kitchen, bathroom and living room, stripped and vacuumed the bed, vacuumed the bedroom and high traffic areas and put the washing in.
That little boy does me wonders. We're going to the park this afternoon (my little thankyou to him for being so fabulous) and will meet DH on the way home from work. I think I may even treat us all to an ice cream factory at Pizza Hut.
I'm still itchy, but no longer grouchy or tired. My son seems to have cured me of my self-pity!It's funny, I went to teach him alesson about responsibility and yet it turns out he knows more about it than I do! :rotfl:

I've done a fair bit in the bedroom.. what is the point in vacuuming the mattress???? There wasn't any dirt in my vacuum after I'd done it.. so why all the fuss???
Anyway.. I have sheets to hang out.. xxxxxxLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
